Draka uc home cat 7, it is thin, flexible "easy to run through pvc pipe", awesome for fixed installation with "good" keystones.. I love the legrand toolless keystones.. but they are expensive though.. Most of the time toolless makes a worse contact than using a LSA punch Look at these brands: Nexans , Draka, Panduit, Siemon , Legrand
My fam and i are moving. I will be asking the frontier people if they can have a cable go from my mom office (modem location) through the ceiling or underground outside to my room. As well as ask what cable they would be using. I'm interested in the Cat 7 but after this video I may go with Cat 6 since i had a Cat 5 cable in our previous house
Yes I would recommend Cat 6 in this case unless the cable is going to be extremely long. In almost all cases internet service providers aren’t providing anywhere near 10Gbps speed anyway so Cat 6 would be fine. Where I am it’s quite rare to be getting higher than 1Gbps for example.
