I don’t know where you’ve gone, I wish we could chat. I followed most of what you said, I retained 8.8% haste and just stacked crit and mastery, this first phase was a lot of fun, made a lot of other healers cry and was able to convince a lot of others to try the build I also did rdruid for 25m but that was coincidence :p
You can life grip people out of the tornados on Al Akir. It doesn't pull them to you but it drops them out of the tornado so they can run back to position.
So glad to hear your thoughts on over spamming atonement. Did a pug raid as a holy priest and the other healer was disc. The other priest would only use atonement healing on all bosses and wouldn't switch it up at all even though the tanks would be on a sliver of health. It was tough but managed to get 20k hps renew spamming raid and greater heal/ serenity on cd the tanks. I didnt say anything to the other priest but I did find it odd and frustrating that this guy wouldnt change his game plan at all.
Hey man, got a question. On 25man (hc) should i stack haste, or prioritize crit instead of it? Or should i stack haste until the 1st breakpoint and then crit? I would be grateful if u asnwer :)
You funny asf! haha Never thought I'd meet another CHAD priest! Question real quick. I am a non atonement disc priest. My renew is pretty strong sitting at 20-30% of my overall healing. Am I losing out being pure healing build or is atonement the meta? Trying progression on raids currently.
strength of soul is so cope and you know it, ain't nobody got time as disc to hard cast a heal or gheal to reduce ws by 2s to try to bait a 3s faster rapture when rapture already not proccing on cd anyways...better off putting a point in sfiend cd, worst case sfiend then comes up in the final 30s chaos of a fight and you are free to spam pws on raid or flash on a tank... that atramedes kill was so fucking clean, the hpal couldn't even exist, but it hurts my soul that you had a borrowed time'd hymn and cancelled it 1 tick early to penance the tank at full hp, but otherwise yea that was so well played nice parse too...I can't play or watch streams this whole month too much going on but ill catch up later good luck
strength of soul is pretty cope but so is 1 ppint veiled shadows and 1% haste. Its just 1 talent point so i'm coping it up alllllllllllllllllllllllll day
It sounds like the main reason you're using the PW:S spamming playstyle is because you're struggling to go oom. Is there a reason that you're not just reforging/itemizing out of spirit into crit or haste? Wouldn't that allow you to convert some of that extra mana into increased HpM and HpS while also continuing to use Disc's most efficient spells?
it would but only by very little. The difference between reforging all crit and spamming efficient spells to go oom and reforging all haste and spamming efficient spells to go oom is really not that much. If you're ending bosses with 50% mana reforging crit ur gonna be ending bosses with 40% mana reforging haste. The thing that'll really make you go oom fast enough is changing your playstyle. And thats why PW:S has been incorporated.
Awesome video as always! I have been following your guide since CATA released. I mostly raid 25man with my disc priest. I used to stack Haste over Crit and Mastery, but in 25man I will end up with 23% haste due to the buffs. Which means I am well over the 1 extra tick requirement (12.5% Haste) but below the 2 extra ticks requirement. I feel like those extra haste was wasted. Then I reforged all available Haste and Mastery into Crit. With raid buff, I am still able to get 14% Haste. Can you please explain the stat priority for 25man disc priest?
I wouldn't bother with haste caps as disc, just stack crit and press prayer of healing a lot in 25 man and if you can't go oom by the end of the fight then start pre PW:Sing boss mechanics.
Thanks for the great vids, can you share how much mana you have with your raid gear and full buffs? The vids only show a percentage and I would be interested to know where I'm at compared to you since I only starting getting nm raid gear.
wow ok, that is massive and I'm still quite far from that (probably due to the fact we're not yet raiding heroic), I'll test to see if I must remain a normie (without the sucking part) for now or if I can already move on to be a chad, but probably still too far to be a woke xD
Another quick question if you don't mind: do you have separate gears to switch depending on if you play PW:S (obviously with more mastery) or PoH (crit)? Or do you have a unique balanced gear?
Always played hol, never disc, and do alright. It feels pretty in-built now, how hard would you say it is to pick up disc these days? Does feel very effective

glyph of poh, penance, pws. Reforge spirit > crit > mastery > haste. Use prayer of healing and PoM as much as possible, and prioritize healing the ranged dps & tank. Penance off cooldown, holy fire off cooldown.
Hey there , really nice guide ! Btw what is your Crit / Haste / Mastery % ? Also what stats are you reforging into Crit , and also do you use PI on yourself or on DPS ?
I just get rid of as much mastery and haste as possible and put it into crit. Also always PI yourself in cata, the boss dying half a second faster because u PI'd a dps is completely irrelevant.
@@macdaddyswag2585 im currently at 360 ilvl , just by reforging mastery+haste into crit gives me ~2,6% Crit , the value seems kinda low considering it takes away ~2,4% haste and 2% mastery . Would you also consider using Crit Gems ?
@@demoon508 the reforging will matter more later into the expansion, for now the gear optimizations are gonna be minor increases so it doesn't really matter too much what you do. Definitely only use int gems tho.

Why not throw some renews to burn mp if you have everything else on lock? Since it’s an instant cast, could just use it on the move only, and PoH when static. Genuine question.
I asked you a while ago on one of your livestreams about 10 man raiding and you said you didn't like 10 mans because it didn't "feel like" a raid. Has your opinion changed on that? I heavily prefer 10 man raiding. 25 is too many people. I don't want to deal with attendance issues and it's way easier for 10 people to talk together than 25.
yea now try that with like 12 less ilvl no 4piece and dps that prolly does 1/2 the damage and fail all the mechanics :D idk why im still in my guild. btw u if u like preshielding so much u can prestack aegys with preayer up to like 50-60k or some shit and it stays for 30 so if going oom isnt a problem you can snipe even more heals if u want to :3 yo dont even lose much mana for it if u only do it prepull.
Why 3 healers on Alakir, that's highly noobilicious of you. Also my dear key-turner guy, use Move Down keybind aka teabag bind (baseline X) so you always fly down with your group and not waste your mouse movement on that :P
@@Shikaradin66 you can 2 heal, but I hate it because Phase 1 becomes fight for survival, and bad RNG will lead to wipe after a wipe. Especially with pugs. Phase 2 and 3 might be even easier than with 3 healers.
