When I hear Stormwind's theme, I imagine pies near the window, freshly baked bread, children playing, merchants laughing. When I hear Orgrimmar's theme, I imagine blood and thunder
One of the reasons i disgust the Alliance is that, it is SO boring, honestly Stormwind always reminds me one of that beautiful and perfect Disney's medieval kindgoms
@@patrickjanuario3291 this. Alliance players are just basic, Horde is strong and powerful and it gives this feeling on the very first look. Just coming to Orgrimmar for the first time hearing this soundtrack. Cataclysm done some things better than previous expansions
Garrosh's fatal mistake was his decision to turn on the other leaders of the Horde and betray each of their people. Had he been more willing to unite the Horde like Thrall had rather than divide it, the Alliance likely would have lost the previous war. Garrosh's pride, arrogance, and impatience doomed him in the end. Thrall was right, he failed the Horde, and he failed them when they needed a strong leader most.
been an alliance fan boy for years , my first horde character was an orc warlock , first time stepping into Orgrimmar and getting blasted by this bad boy of a theme was the day the boy in me died and the man emerged , never played alliance since lol
Having played since Burning Crusade, I can tell you that entering the new Orgrimmar and hearing this music play (as a flight of windriders flew overhead) was one of the most awe-inspiring moments of my time on WoW.
"You will serve the Horde! Or be crushed beneath it!" "Lead by these words, Lok'tar Ogar, victory! Or death" "Only the strongest may dwell in Orgrimmar" "Hellscream's eyes are upon you"
@@Sk1tz092 The Gilneas Soundtrack is the most technical soundtrack in the game in terms of time measurement and sound it is the clearest and the best. But i still am a Horde Guy.
Is it strange that I, a gnome for the alliance, enjoy this song whenever I fly over Orgrimmar? Or that I want to fall into a crowd of people in the city so they wonder why there's a dead gnome in their city that fell from the sky?
I am an instrument of my Warchief's desire, I am a weapon of my Warchief's command. From here and now till the end of my days, I live and fight FOR THE HORDE!
André Felipe Maccarini Its the blood oath of the Horde, actually. Traditionally and Lore-wise all new members of the Horde must recite it when being accepted into the Horde.
macrons593 Loyal subordinate and total bitch are two different things. Most military forces throughout history have some oath of loyalty. Are you calling servicemen and women bitches?
Ultimaton100 Although a lot of members of the Horde failed to follow this oath when the Siege of Orgrimmar took place by trying to kill Garrosh, I feel really sad that Nazgrim stood by his side and died because of the blood oath. And although I didn't play a lot of his questline, he's still a great hero and member of the Horde in my eyes.
Indeed. However SoO proved the majority of the Horde was willing to stand up to a racist bloodthirsty tyrant and replace him with a Warchief that values honor, the key value of the Horde. I didn't fault Nazgrim for standing by the oath though. It wasn't easy to kill him, I had been questing with him since Wrath. His dying words expressing gratitude a friend had been the one to bring him down made me just all the more eager to dethrone Garrosh. I see Nazgrim as like a Warcraft version of Erwin Rommel, an honorable general in service to a tyrant out of a sense of duty to their country. Both their actions and deaths meant nothing to their leaders. To quote Churchill, "War leaves little place for chivalry"
I play alliance but damn, this music is awesome. I often rogue my way into orgrimmar just to listen to it. But i'm not paying for WOW till pandaria, can't wait for it!
When I resubbed to WoW it was because I got a test key to the PTR from Blizz reps from Brazil. They were begining to localize the entire game to PT-BR and started a fresh new Tauren Paladin (was Alliance since Vanilla). When I got to Orgrimmar for the first time this played in, and thats it. Never played my Ally toons ever again. That music alone convinced me to be Horde forever. Blood and Thunder!
This reminds me a lot of old Spielberg films like the Flintstones lol they had such great music. Entering Orgrimmar feels so epic now hahah you could be a lvl 9 noob and feel like you're doing something really important for the Horde and saving the world lol
I have to say I was always at the side of the alliance , but this new theme and new orgrimmar is such impressive with these wardrums and the horns it converted me to the side of the horde, I found my home
I like how every race in wow has atleast a half-interesting story and background. From the horde i would say my favourites are the forsaken and the blood elves.. they sem to have a good relationship but are often looked down upon from the rest of the horde
***** Right, 'cause he was a whiny bitch that sat in his throne room when he fought in the arena with Thrall, took the fight to the Lich King's home turf, and led a campaign on Pandaria where he single-handedly defeated the entire continent's best warrior. I don't like the guy either, but let's not forget how much of a fuckin' warrior he is, yeah?
It took awhile for them to get back here, but nothing reminds you that the Horde is about killing some son-of-a-bitch'n Night Elves like walking into Orcs marching to this theme.
"Listens to the song" "Gets pumped up and ready for PvP" "Short flashback of Blood elf paladins and hunters" "Goes back to PvE" Pretty much what I felt during this epic theme.
This really puts into perspective what a warhead Garrosh is. When this plays you can kind of feel how his essence has seeped into the fabric of the Horde. I love Garrosh simply because he's got more balls on his own than the entire Alliance combined. In a game with War in its name, we just didn't have enough. Thank you, Garrosh. :D
Where did this recording come from? There's a version of it on the Cata soundtrack, but it's missing some key sounds. Also, on this version, there's two different ones.
