Hey Eric! I started chess in the first lockdown and always asked myself how you actually study your opening lins (which are often not so common) Probably you mentioned it before but it would be really nice to give us some ideas. Your content is amazing
most Catalan players seems to rather play Nd2 rather than Bishop Bd2 ? This shoud change the whole approach. Not sure why you left this out your excellent delivery lol .Really enjoy your videos..
Notification gang! HI ERIC, love the vids! also anyone know how to link your lichess and twich accounts bc I subbed recently and wanna see if I can play sometime :)
At 2:49, ...b5 is Stockfish 14 recommended move at depth=37 ! So it is not a losing move here? 9...b5 10.Ng5 h6 11.Nxf7 Rxf7 12.Bxa8 Bd7 13.Bf3 Bc6 14.Nd2 Qxd4 =
5:34 Is that an opening trap? If white takes on c6 is losing for white, but if white takes on b4 is winning for white :) I would not recommend going for this line, as if white plays correctly will take advantage very quickly.
@@randomlunatic2608 what!? This is clearly: "the legend of the ultimate fantasy brothers battle royale XXI: a breath of the heritage for the future 2. Featuring dante for the devil may cry series And knuckles, director's cut"
Can you check alk traps and stuff for lember gambit I didn't even know something like this existed I randomly tried something and end up with this of course I'm around 1200 at lichess so my oppenent blundered a lot if you check what we can do with this gambit I apriciate it. When I looked at databese there were just one game and the one who gambitted was the winner. Here what I end up with: e4 Nf6 Nf3 Nxe4 d3 Nd6 Ne5 f6 Qh5 g6 Nxg6 hxg6 Qxh8 Nc6 Bh6 Nf7 Qxf8# (Checkmate could have been voided if he had played Nf7 earlier)
I feel bad, I may have turned a guy off chess today. He had a lead, and then I did an en-passant and flipped it. He didn't know about the rule. Complained a lot and then resigned.
