I saw that you didn't let anything back on time. However, you skillfully turned the ship around. The steering wheel is broken, it's not your fault, but whoever made it didn't put a stiffener in it during production.
You are right. There were more mistakes: It was a half wind run and we had the maintraveler in the middle (wrong). the main sheet was allready completely loose. (wrong) i thought we are allready on a downwindrun and i can depower with pulling on the rudder. but that was the wrong direction. (wrong) 1 second later there was no way back. ;-)
hello will! they call them stabilizers. They were installed when i bought the cat used. here in texel nearly all f20c have them attached. i never drove the boat without so i can`t tell the difference but i think that it`s easier to handle a too big amount of lift when the crew-weight is too far at the back!? or it`s simply a bit more stable in this axxis. :-)
@@RominKatzer thanks, I have a 20 FCS and mostly use the t-foil rudders, but do have regular ones as well. I bought the Nacra F16 rudder foils, but they're pretty small. I used a-cat t-foils on my Tornado and they helped a LOT. was just curious about the size of your foils and the placement.
