Nope the Lagoon won't sink, ever, even upside down. It has water tight chambers in both hulls, forward and aft. And that's not an escape hatch according to Lagoon. Actually its to get back in if you flip the boat over... most likely pitch pole which is digging in the bows and bringing the stern over the top. Thanks Craig. We were told it was to climb out if the boat ever did flip since you might not be able to get our otherwise. And I agree it is unlikely...
805gregg For beginning sailors this is a navigational challenge. The reefs have claimed many victims although nowadays with plotters it is easier. charter companies mostly do not allow their boats to visit Anegada.
