19:42 Instead of using Warlord to activate one knight and then upgrade a knight, you should have built a new knight and activated 2 with Warlord. That would give an extra knight against the robber, protect your road from Diplomat and you would have a level 1 knight for Deserter.

Alchemist is an amazing card that let's you manipulate the dice y Roll to whatever you want it to be. Also there is no harm in you to just play an intregue to force orange to remove a road. You really want to play cards in the end game just for the sake of it sometimes.

Lol you had so many win conditions at the end! Alchemist can be really helpful, picking what dice you want to roll, you could have used it to roll an 8 100% and gotten the coin for a politics metropolis.

@@ellycatan yes both dice. keep in mind if you make the red dice lower you can get the dev cards. Example Red 2 and white 6 will get you a 8 and a good chance at a dev card. Also don't forget you can make the dice roll a 7 meaning other people would have to discard

At 24:30 you can win with alchemist and say "8" you build the city for 11 points and get 4 coins for the blue metropole which gets you to 13.

Interesting, i don’t think I fully understood what alchemist does, I thought you could only control one of the dice

Cities and Knights seems like so much fun - though frankly I'm not really sure whether it is or not because I had no idea wtf was going on! I did figure out that you won (somehow) though...so yay me! Congrats on the win. You should post a couple 1 Vs 1 games as they are quick and have their own flavour as well.

26:29 You could have played Merchant before taking longest road to win with 14 points.

You need level 3 for the perks not level 4. Also uppgrading your knight was a mistake because of the deserter card. You should always have two lvl 1 knights before upgrading incase someone pulls the deserter card.

Cities and Knights always feels like such an upgrade from the base game. Shame about that Intrigue card, though :')

It's really not that bad. Read. Don't just skim all instructions. Play first with TWO people. Its actually a good 2 player game. By the end of second game you'll have it. A good 4 player game but give 3-4 hours. Especially first time. LOTS of questions arrise. Reference the I structures and cards carefully and literally. Don't read anything into them that's not there. EVerything Is addressed. They did excellent beta testing
