Deja vu is what happens when the lessons of history are ignored. In my 78 years I have winessed this in engineering, economics and politics.

I’m Aussie, I am 32 and live in a unit like most of my friends. The state of our units are absolutely disgraceful, I was reading a study a couple days ago (2023 strata defects survey report) and over 50% of apartments built between 2016-2022 have at least one serious defect, usually issues with waterproofing. In my personal experience, I don’t know anyone living in a unit who hasn’t had trouble water ingress. When it rains here, the water runs underneath the tiles outside and then under the carpet inside. So about a metre from the door onwards is soaking wet, and then black mould grows on the carpet. My friend last week finally was told by a tribunal that she can leave her rental agreement since her roof has mould growing on it which is causing her to have an allergic reaction. The unit standards here are an absolute joke, and what is worse is that my generation can usually only afford units, houses are usually 300-400k above what we can afford. I am a teacher, so I may never own a property unless it’s a unit.

Air brakes.... SO, who was the dimwit, suggesting you need pressure to keep the brakes on, instead of off ? -...... Using pressure to keep the brakes off, nullifies any and all risks of an accident, due to shutting the engine off.... And shutting the engine, not only saves a ton of fuel, but is also good for the environment :S ... srsly, they need to reverse that :S
