Oh yes. Out here at one of my favorite spots trying to catch me a meal. / officialfishermanslife www.fishermanslife.net TJ's Channel / @tjjanalaska8674 The Master Baiter / @tmb_outdoors
@9:40 normal fishermen: tosses fish back in water him: "this fish, he may never get caught again. he may never be out of the water again. he only knows what its like to swim. he doesnt know whats it like to fly"......YEET! LOL
I'm jealous with the fact that you can go out alone all day and have the best time, you must have such a good relationship with yourself. Teach us how you have achieved this, please!
A big reason I love this channel is the fact while he's talking to the camera while eating the fish, it feels like he's just talking to you about his plans for the week. It's a really cool dynamic he has with the audience that I love
i like the multi-day camping trips into the mountains and the little streams, catching trout on flies. telling stories by campfire, eating your catch. maybe show more of the process of roughing it - your equipment, how you light a fire, your sleeping situation. i love all of it!
I've been watching this channel for a couple years now. Honestly, Im still not tired of watching videos like this. It's what makes fishermanslife...fishermanslife. Keep doing you Matt. I don't want to see this channel turn into a "challenge" channel. I feel it takes away authenticity of content. There's already countless of fishing channels who try to do the most.
I am addicted to this channel. I discovered it a little over a week ago and aside from some news stuff or some music stuff, fisherman’s life has been on my screen non-stop. So relaxing and interesting. Super excited for my trip to June Lake in a couple weeks to catch some trout and cook it up w a little bit of butter!
more collaboration videos. maybe some how to videos. more guest videos. those bringing your friends are cool. take more chefs out fishing and get them to do a the cooking part.
yeah i love philosophy d, and outdoor chef life. ill have to check out the other ones you mentioned. theres allot of young kids on youtube nowadays that soo youtubey , always making videos flaunting their expensive boats and trucks, idk i dont like their style it makes me cringe.. thats why fishermans life and phild / outdoor chefs life are so awesome.. more adult orientated, humble. deermeatfordinner is good but even that channel just makes me feel depressed watching them live the perfec life lol.. maybe im just crabby..
@@chronicawareness9986 I know what you mean. I think you have good insight. I think I get upset when people waste fresh fish. Too many harvest only about 50% of the fish and waste the rest and they usually deep fry it to death. If I am going to take a life I'm going to respect it by not wasting it.
i appreciate how much more informative your being man i asked for some help in previous videos and this video alone helps so much thanks for your content brotha
Long time subscriber, this channel is the reason I have wanted to start to learn how to fish, I'm getting my fishing license and a rod tomorrow. Thanks for all the tips, a noobie like me really appreciates that, cheers from the bay.
Catch and cook videos are very calming and look forward to them. As a OTR truck driver it let’s time pass by fast during this along rides. Used to fish with my pops as a young man, and I want to get back into it. When I can, love your videos bro
I really like your catch and cook. I just started fishing this summer and your videos inspire me to go out and try some of your methods. I learned a lot by watching your videos, thank you!
My suggestions since you asked: Maybe some more overnighters? Also the avo/rice/butter combo is the classic, so maybe try some more recipes or ingredients?
Honestly dude just watching you fish as well as catch and cook makes my day! You don't have to do any fancy videos imo. Because of how raw and personal these vids are they are truly entertaining in your own way! Not really a fisherman myself but you make me want to be one!! MORE BUTTER AND AVOCADO THOUGH PLEASE 🤣🙏💯💯
honestly you've covered it all: different cooking/catching techniques, different species, different environments... I think we all just want to see you do what you want to do.
Suggestion: What if you attempt to catch something in places where most people don't try ... reservoirs, storm drains, some forgotten body of water or river near an abandoned building ... ... neighbor's koi pond.
Salmonfishing always has been a dream of mine. These fish demonstrate the true power of nature and are the kings of all salmonides. Since salmonides are my passion, I really hope to catch one. Its my dream and I am at least lucky enough to see people enjoying this live on the internet. Thanks for that. For now, I am lovibg my browntrout here on my local waters in Germany. Greetings to everyone and stay healthy.
Oh yes, finally a new video and it looks like its a classic c&c and „a little of butter video“! Following since about app 47k and still love the vids! All the best from Argentina!
Hey man, just wanted to say welcome back. This was super informative. and I've really been considering picking up fishing as a hobby because of your channel. As for video ideas... I'd love to see like a video where you're just cooking fish you've got the day before. Go over prep, and seasonings like you do in your catch and cooks, but just a video dedicated to the cooking. Hope your tendon isn't bothering you too much today :D
@@Bithalrai first of all, im Dutch. second, I would've addressed him by his name if I knew his name :). Third "You should" sounds more imparative in my head then "He should" 🤷♂️
Kapoen well no arguments there, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect your say but I thought if you could address him as a first person it would be a direct statement to him.. like talking to him directly
As a long time subscriber, I can speak for most of us and say that we love pretty much all the content you produce. But if you are looking to mix it up a little, maybe take some subscribers fishing with you😉😉
You make fishing looks so much fun and thanks for the tips on how to tie up a rig that won’t snag too ! Love watching your channel and will watch more of your vids ! Thanks !
I would not have the patience to do what this guy does, place a cam, walk to it for a shot, walk back and palce it some where els n agh, Lovely channel tough, hyped when theres a new upload 😍
I like all your videos.. been a follower since you fished for perch off tha beach bruddah... its cool to see you progress into boat fishing and above and beyond... I kayak fish and beach/rock/harbor/reef/sierras fish. but mostly rock and beach fish. i really like how you don't just chase boat fishing and big game... you'll bring it back old school and appreciate the basics and shore fish... the basics perch brings back child hood memories
I love it when you catch and cook. I don't care what it is, but just satisfying seeing you be passionate about it and fish/eat. Definitely my #1 videos I look forward to.
Finally going fishing sunday, been crazy at work with farmers ordering their equipment late so just been welding like crazy. Hope for some rainbow trout!!!!
Im actual going up into the mountains to fish for trout this weekend, i fish saltwater because I live on the coast so I don’t know much about freshwater fishing. You got any tips to help me catch trout?
That was good, it's been awhile since I put butter in a pan & asked myself if that was enough! I never really gave it any thought until I started watching your videos. I like your education videos, showing the rig you're using was a good thing from where I sit. The cooking part is fine entertainment, keep it up!!
The video angles, your voice, your storytelling, your deep knowledge of the subject matter...all of it is amazing! Subscribed!! You inspire me to incorporate more catch-and-cooks into my own videos, brother! Lemme know if you're ever around Vancouver! Our fishing is awesome, too!
When you showed the fish and rice I immediately wondered where the avocado was :-) I enjoy these style videos. The catch and cook are always my favorites.
