Yes. Reassembling rotten exotic timber logs is a priority nature conservation wise. Down my road 20 workers are busy reassembling a Radiata tree that fell down in C.Gabrielle. 😂 I hope they are using biodegradable glues? 🤔 Jokes aside, maybe slash in some safer areas could be repurposed for Huhu grub collection for a while while the logs rot. Apparently good ones are worth about 2 dollars each in the niche alternative food sector.
I like to keep em in a container for an hour or so to let them p**p out all the wood. I always wonder if sitting them im rolled oats will fatten em up and give an even nicer taste 👌🏼
