I stick around one extra day to try to fill my last spring turkey tag on a big wild turkey gobbler and show you how to cook and clean wild turkey with my very own home made recipe. I was fortunate to be able to connect with a giant bird. I'll clean and cook the bird using more traditional methods including an oven and make up my own recipe for cooking wild turkey on the spot! Slow cooking turkey is a great way to make a wild bird so much more tasty. Just fill the turkey up with lots of carrots, garlic, onions and of course, oil, since wild turkey is very dry by nature. Season with woodobo!
