I left my four pots in the water for a 2 day soak. We picked them up and found between 2-4 in each for a total of 13. The lingcod and rockfish bite continues to be good.
Danny and I did a catch and cook with the biggest dungy we had. Measured a little over 7 inches. It tasted so good. I first had a surprise cook with a piece of lingcod I caught two days earlier. Poor mans lobster. Basically you boil a piece of fish in 7up or Sprite.

Another way to do the poor mans lobster is with sugar and lemon juice. It must be able to cover your fish. Put in white fish chunks about and inch square. They will sink in the mixture. They will foam up. You can skim off the foam but don't have to. When the pieces float to the top they are done. The recipe cam from a guy on utube down in texas. I can find the sight again if you need the actual amount of sugar and lemon to add.

I tried that in Oregon.. Halibut N 7up.. Tasty...any fish will do. Poor mans lobster..tasty. Nice video

Another Cool video ! Hopefully I’ll get out on my own boat for some crab and rock fish this weekend.. checking the weather and swells this week to see if going out of bodega or half moon bay.. went on a charter boat last week and got limits of crab and rock fish out at the Farallons ..

Hey whats up! I remember being at work on the 14th and thinking damn I wish I was out fishing on the huck fin like Reel Life Fisherman. Hopefully he posts some footage from that trip? Happy you got your limits. Its my birthday Sunday so wife is taking me away from the water this weekend lol. From what i see Saturday looks better then Sunday. Bodega 7.5' at 16 sec & HMB 6' at 16 sec. Good luck if you make it out! Thanks again for my following my channel. Chris P

How do you store long ropes without tangles?

Thank you for checking out the video! I do not have a great method. I just wrap them around my arm and shoulder and try and set it down in trap the same way it was wrapped. When I pull the rope out I try and grab it the same way I put it down. Not a great method, 1 in 5 have a little tangle. Thanks again Chris P

Never fails for me when I want to do something a fish bites or if my reel is all screwed up I catch fish at that time too. And worms is why you should gut right away as well so they don't go into the meat!
