I go fishing in tropical north Queensland Australia and catch a few nice fish. Two of which are nice big Flathead. I fillet one and cook it on an open fire right on a beautiful beach. This is a super simple recipe, but amazingly delicious. There are only a couple of ingredients, Lime and Pepper chips, butter and lemon.

Mate, Great video again you never seem to disappoint with your videos, This video made my day. Here I was watching some fishing and all of a sudden I get the notification for Andy's Fishing. You will notice I said most of... I grew up in Cairns so know the jetty well but have has access to boats my whole life - I haven't fished off a jetty since I was 2 or 3...unless I was entertaining the kids I consider it a waste of time..

Tried this on the BBQ last night with some Barra. The only changes I made was I added some paprika and garlic in the bag with the chips. It worked great! Love the catch and cooks Andy!

Long time watcher recently subscribed. Its good to see people who practice conservation while still enjoying the outdoors. I'm from the states and my fishing season usually ends in October and i have to admit.. I watch and i get envious because people get to fish where the water isn't under a foot and a half of ice. Anyway, I guess my question or request would be to fish for the one thing people dont expect you to fish for or ask you to fish for? Like an example people talk about the american "trash" fish Carp, gar, catfish etc... the normal non game fish species... but what they don't ask for is bowfin, eel pout, suckers, buffalo .. I don't know but I've always enjoyed catching that one entirely unexpected so bizarre its almost creepy sort of fish.. and I'm sure that there is a freshwater fish in Australia,, that is weird.. entertaining and unique in its own special way.. that would be an interesting fishing trip to see! Thanks for the great videos none the less!

Andy, any other species will do. I have seen the jack catch and cook videos but nowhere near the quality that you did that flatty
