So based on what John said when Mikey was encountering the roaring moon, that if he caught a shiny while Mikey was in the process of catching the roaring moon then Mikey would still be "atop the mountain", to guarantee a win, in the final round you could encounter a shiny, announce what it is so your opponent doesnt go after that same one, and then just sit in the battle until about a minute left in the timer, and catch it. It would not make for good content, but a win is a win i guess

For roaring moon, do not run around like they do! The reason so few dark types spawed is cause they kept causing packs to spawn from running to quickly, but if you go slower more individual pokemon (like roaring moon) show up

I've been re-playing pokemon X and have been shiny hunting for shiny politoad since last night and just a few minutes ago I finally caught one

After all this time, Mikey finally get the ultimate revenge in shinies in the most appropriate way. A shiny first before the vid, interrupting John with his shiny, and then winning with a shiny.

Murder Battleship challenge: You both have a party of six. You choose what pokemon you have on your team. The goal is to battle at the end, after finishing off a time limit, and whoever wins the battle wins the game. To influence the other team, you have to "guess" what member they have on their party. To "guess" correctly, you have to catch a pokemon in order to nullify it from the other team. If one person were to chase after the version exclusive paradox pokemon, you'd have to capture a (ex.) Fluttering Mane to prevent from getting used by any and all participating members. (You can consider whether you'd omit version interplay, depending on how many players are available.) Since you have a time limit, you have to catch a lot of pokemon and hope no one nullifies your "battleships". And because of the time limit, it won't be possible to nullify every available pokemon in the game (which I think is difficult enough as it is). If more than two players, I suppose you can have a battle chart, tournament style.
