Lesson to be learned------> do not synchro travel too far from your character😅😅 (they had made auto battles shiny fail proof... wish they had implemented something for the synchro one 😢)
I encountered and even accidentally killed a shiny vibrava in the Savannah biome... My character was in the polar biome xD never going more than 5 feet with synchro again.
I was just wondering this today, reminds me of the old games where you could encounter shinies before you got pokeballs 💀 or worse: the professor shows you a shiny 😭
Bring back Legends: Arceus spawning mechanics Aka Pokémon will only vanish from view, but NEVER despawn unless you enter a building, city, town, until the next day
I can see the idea behind this, but it would make the current methods of shiny hunting significantly more difficult, since you’d need to find a building/town to despawn everything, and the majority of SV’s overworld is… lacking in those. Heck, to do the Terrarrium you’d literally need to either leave the ENTIRE terrarium, or maybe head into the center area. Either way it’d be annoying.
Don't worry John you don't need you to tell me about this... It happened to me with a shiny scyther I was far enough away that it would despawn but at the same time so close. This is also how I learnt that you will attack ANY Pokemon, even shiny ones.
Not only that, but you can trick your friends who are shiny hunting in a union. I had this idea a few days ago but it didn't work since my friends kept moving around and I couldn't keep track. But the next group, I and another guy were shiny hunting for Scizor. We thought it was immediate because we saw a shiny one, thought it was glitches when we couldn't fight it and just phased through it, then found it it was a friend using the Sync machine. Have fun with this knowledge!
They should make a upgrade to this feature when you accidentally kill a shiny with this feature it just makes 1 spawn right near you when your done syncronizing
@ashtonoak4370 real life where stress is at least partially mandatory or a game I purchased to destress. Honestly, a fantasy video game being less punishing than real life is just logical.
Yesterday my friend and I were playing hide and seek with this feature and my friend saw a shiny that I saw as well and he failed it because he only had a trapich
I DEFINITELY DON'T recommend you guys shiny hunt with a synchro machine because I have learnt the worst by punching a shiny exeggcute in the face (note: I didn't know this at the time thought it would be like auto battles.) My soul left my body on that day.
That almost happened to me cause I wanted to test how far could you get away from your character while being a pokemon, luckly I realize that wild pokemon spawned as if you were there posibly failing a shiny. Now when I become my pokemon I stay as close to myself as I can in fear that a shiny would spawned xd
Me and my friend were doing this together and having the best time. We went to the tippy top of the ice mountain and transformed and left our trainers to see how far we could push it. I was my Shiny Primarina and my friend was thier Walking Wake (You need a Pokemon that can swim/fly for this) and we left from the top of the mountain across the icy waters into the coastal biome through the torchlit cave into the savanna across past the Trapinch Pits and eventually reached the bottom of the icy mountain again. You literally can ditch your body and freely go anywhere your heart desires as your favorite Pokemon as long as you can traverse. Although yes, you can find uncatchable shinies. I had a blast being a true mermaid though.
This is the first thing that got into my mind when I discovered the shyncro and the reason I don't use it, the fear of finding a shiny and have to watch it knowing I can't capture it
Also, the ditto NPCS that hang around the plazas around the terrarium are also potential uncatchable shinies. They have the same odds, but if you find one, you can't catch it, you'll just have a shiny ditto permanently stuck in one place.
This should be done in groups: a few playing with their character and the others as pokemon, so that if one as pkm finds a shiny, the teammate can go catch it
Imagine if they made this a gamemode with buddies sorta like a mix between prop hunt and safari zone, but your buddies have to catch you to win, and if they dont you win a random egg pokemon
2 ways to fix this: put the trainer where you stop the synchronization OR have the trainer follow the pokemon (don't ask how that would work with flying or swimming pokemon) and have the trainer throw out a pokeball for you and trigger a battle
I think more people need to realise the speed stat doesn’t mean movement speed. It’s more like the Pokémon’s reaction time. Even with this in mind some speed stats for Pokémon don’t make sense.
Fun story , this exact thing happened to me a few days ago with a shiny magmar , lucky for me I actually managed to lead it back towards my character as I wasn't standing too terribly far away
Thanks for inadvertently answering a question I had about this and if you could actually attack shiny pokemon when using synchronization. Already was immediately on edge to get too far from my character because I just k ow my luck would spawn a shiny I don't have yet while I'm syned far. I pretty much only use this feature for clearing outbreaks faster and more controlled.
Such an oversight. It’s like there’s one dev at TPCI that appreciates and respects shiny hunting and adds new methods into each game for hunting them, and then the rest of the dev team hates shiny hunters and works to make the experience worse
I tested this in my game and the sad news is (from my limited data gathered) is that all spawns change when exiting Synchro mode. If you are near a 5-cluster, defeat 1 and exit Synchro mode. The remaining 4 will not be there and the spawns around will be different
Even in the game it said it was still in testing so I hope on the next game they figure out a way of being able to just be sent into a battle if you do so happen to encounter one.
It's almost like when you find two or more shinies in a raid den in the Crown Tundra. You think it's the best thing at first, but then you realise its greatest nightmare.
