Here’s a challenge idea for you; Surprise Battle You surprise trade 6 Pokémon out, whatever you get back, is your team. If you get a repeat or a hacked Pokémon, you trade it back out until you get a new one. If it’s a special item evo, like Gligar for example, if you have the full evo Pokémon in your box, you may use it. Movesets, items, and abilities are your choice. If you get a trade evo, you have to deal with the furthest you can go without trading it. Unless the trade Evo pokemon got specifically traded to you and evolved. And no legendaries just to make it interesting. (Paradox forms are okay though)

Oooh, John's struggles with spoink gave me an idea! If you can catch your own Pokémon then catch the other player's Pokémon before they do, you can lose a strike you've already incurred.

When Michael giggled at John getting Carbink, I thought that meant he knew where the Carbink nest was inside the Crystal Pool, where like tons of them spawn exclusively

I was surprised John couldn't find Vullaby, cause that was one of the few Pokémon I did actually know the location of. But that's mostly cause I've spent a lot of time exploring Oni Mountain every time I've gone up there so far. Also when I saw Vullaby I remember thinking "Hmm makes sense this would be here" since it was in an area of the mountains where you can find a lot of Rare Bones, and it's a vulture baby. (Seriously though, you can find so many Rare Bones up there...nice way to make some cash). Also I just fought a Quagsire in a raid. I think it was Fairy type. Someone brought a Clodsire to the raid which I thought was hilariously appropriate 😅
