Awesome catch!!! I haven't done so well on big swimbait fishing this year. I've caught bunch of 4 pounders & just caught a 5.9 a few weeks ago. I've lost only 2 big ones I've hooked into. Both in the 8-10 pound range jumped & pulled off right next to the kayak. They let me get a good look at them, then spit the hook & laughed in my face! Those 2 losses still hurt! Compared to last year I did amazing. My 3 biggest girls last year were 8.6 - 9.3 - 11.4 The year isn't over yet so I can still redeem myself. I'll keep grinding it out. At anytime you can hook into a fish if a lifetime or another hog & that keeps me motivated
