Catching a Giant Meanmouth Bass in the Kayak

Today, the Alabama Rig has shown out once again and has produced an absolute unit of a largemouth x smallmouth hybrid. I am fishing in the kayak on a lake I have only been to a couple of times. I found a location on the lake while searching through Google Earth Pro on Lake Murray and decided to run with it.

Very nice bass. Should have taken a blood sample. Thats what dnr does when registering for a record. At least you would know what it was.

Thanks. I considered doing something like that to get an official consensus on the matter, but since Oklahoma apparently does not do lake records (or at least not for Lake Murray) and I had heard the process for getting the fish identified is not very smooth in OK so I figured it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

And I was personally satisfied enough with the identification since the pictures showed the markings clear enough to where I felt it was enough evidence.
