Hello to all of our @vagabondlife2018 subscribers and if you are new to our channel welcome.
After leaving Blenheim we travel further down the East Coast to a POP (Park Over Property) out at Ward Beach.
This is a small portion of Land fenced off by a couple who own a substantial chunk of Land primarily used as a sheep farm.
Everyday, (and sometimes 3 times a day) you can watch the crayfishermen launch their boat using a bulldozer and about an hour or two later come back in. With precision timing, they launch the boat back onto the trailer as the bulldozer pulls them back in.
There isn't a lot to do here, but that's the point, it's the place you come to when you want some peace and quiet and some relaxing time.
You can take a walk along the pebble beach to see the spherical boulders and you might catch a seal sunbathing too.
This place would just be awesome in Summer due to the swimming and snorkeling you could do, maybe some Paua, Kina, or even a Crayfish if you are lucky.
