I've been trout fishing mountain lakes a lot in the last few years and i'd have to say that this trout fishing season has been off to one heck of a start. I love lake fishing, whether i'm in my kayak or lake fishing for trout from shore. I found a tiny fishing rod at 24" so you can expect to see more trout fishing with a mini rod soon. I decided to do some trolling for trout with this mini rod and killed it! Catching some really nice Rainbow trout.
I accepted the mini fishing rod challenge and would have to call it a success, just wait until you see me catching fishing with a tiny rod from my kayak!
The lake was absolutely socked in with fog that morning and i had the lake to myself. Being out on the lake fishing for trout in the mountains and all alone, made for a special moment for me and i'm excited to share it. The footage i captured that day was some of my favorite!

here are a bunch of Pedal Drive Kayaks for fishing to get you started. There are a lot of good kayaks for fishing out there. I didn't think i'd like the sit on top style but i now prefer this type over my sit in kayak that you have to paddle.
