My name is Nick, born and raised here in the PNW, blah blah blah. Basically all of my content is solo camping and fishing or just fishing, whether it's jetty fishing for rockfish on the coast, salmon and steelhead fishing along the rivers, or trout fishing different lakes, rivers, or streams. There's a few catch and cook videos as well as some "how to" videos.... does anybody actually read this?......i'm going fishing

That first location? Pardon my asking but a new local. Is that depoe bay? I live in Lincoln city and wanna get some bait and try but I been trying to locate a few spots
I caught my first Black Sea bass on the Oregon coast last week and it is now one of my favorite tasting fish. It was 3.8 lbs and about 21 inches long. I can’t wait to go back
Throwing a Hail Mary here, I’m a travel nurse and just moved to the area. I chose Oregon so I could do some salmon fishing. The problem is I don’t have access to a boat so it would need to be a bank fishing spot. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I know most people don’t want to give up good spot for fear of them getting blown out. I am not going to post it anywhere and I fish solo so the secret would stay with me! I’ve used RU-vid for all my research on the subject and you are by far my favorite source
The only thing ill recommend is superglue on your plastic lures just put the lure on to the point its past the curve part of the hook and put a drop of glue were the hook shank is going into the lure then slide the lure on normally. it will prevent weeds, nips and small fish from stealing or messing up your lure or pulling it off the hook...... i will say it its not for all lures and does require some drying time and if you plan on reusing the hook you gota clean it but it has its places and will save you time like fixing it before every cast cus it slipped slightly of the hook
Thank you so much🙏 it means a lot to me to get comments like this and some of the best motivation to keep at it 🎣 best of luck, there will be much more to come soon
Love your videos you seem like a real down-to-earth guy if somebody I fish with had a question and I understand you not wanting to give away the location you're fishing at but can you tell us what body of water you're on still great videos you're living The Sweet Life God bless
Dude I’m dying over here waiting for you to post a new video. It’s been 7 months! Your channel is arguably my favorite and I’m starting to get withdrawals!! 😂
Have you ever had fresh caught Walleye? it's the halibut of river fish here in eastern washington. I'll trade you for a day of fishing on the Jetty for a few fillets of Walleye i just caught recently?
Sorry, gonna file this under "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Don't fish precarious places, especially on your own. One slip and you're either dead or f'ed up pretty bad and only if someone is with you would you POSSIBLY get help from services, putting their well being at risk. Furthermore, you're catching beautiful fish only to throw them back at 30 feet and the impact to them is surely not good. Count your lucky stars, and be smarter.
I can’t argue with you on that one, and the drop is more like 15ft but I’d still imagine it’s not good for the fish. I appreciate the comment and concern.
