Yeah I was aware they are cannibal. But it surprised me how keen there were to eat there own kind🤣 And it’s funny how they were all around the same size. I wonder if I used like a 6-7inch soft plastic flathead if it would catch the bigger sized ones🤷

Hey mate I don’t blame you for wanting to know as much info as you can before you blow $500 on a rod. Well I currently use the 2-4kg 7 foot rod. So I can’t give you an accurate feel for the type of fishing you are doing since I’m using it in the estuaries. It’s a great rod though, super light, incredible sensitivity and very durable. Haven’t had an issue with it so far😄 have a look on the shimano RU-vid channel on there video on it. Might help you make a decision weather you wanna get it or not

Use a lighter jighead. And work it slower so it stays close to the bottom
