Catching Flounder at Pevensey 

Hi Michael big good morning to you and great comments which are really appreciated as is your support and feedback. Been a bumpy journey but am getting better about another two months of treatment and according to consultant all going in the right direction but not something I would recommend. I try and make videos that are a bit different and show the reality of a day fishing in the UK. Not out this weekend as boring stuff to do but aiming for following weekend probably a night crack at Selsey as am determined to catch an undulate ray this year. Targets this year are a trigger fish, undulate, a hound over ten pounds and a bream over 2.5 lbs 🤞 Cheers 👍🤞🍻🎣🎣🎣🍺

Hi Shane and big thanks for the ace and supportive comments and means a lot as been a tad tough recently and needed to be in the positive zone to as you rightly say produce good content which is more important than blitzing up videos onto RU-vid. What can I say about me catching fish as am now surprising myself and even Andy 😂 Long may it continue, was going out this weekend but strong SW winds which pushes the sea up so casting and also trying to hold bottom becomes a bit of a challenge. Would usually go but no Andy and I know in my bones would get there, fight to get bivvy set up etc and then get that sinking feeling knowing that things were not going to happen. Hi to you and yep a big F to cancer and it can take so much away from us with little notice. My outcome is good according to the consultant but it is always luring in a dark corner and I find fishing is one of the few things I do that takes me to another place of joy and stop thinking about it. Big hello and really appreciate you checking in. Have not fished for nearly two months with a couple of operations and radio therapy but according to consultant a few days ago should be the last fingers crossed treatment and all looking positive. As you can imagine not been the greatest fun but nearly a year later and through it and close to the other side. Mentally have got my motivation back 👍 am away next weekend with wife for some rest and then following weekend chasing some bream at Selsey 🤞🤞cheers ❤️

Hope you get the car sorted and they are such an expensive thing to own especially when they go wrong. Hi Colin thanks for the nice message and means an awful lot as not been the best year or health journey. Have not been out the last couple of months because I had more operations on my bowel and needed to get my motivation for life back. Has been successful and as of last week am allowed back out fishing 😃 the consultant says that all I need now is a blood test weekly and a checkup every three months going forward and keep taking the pills. Life can be a bug..r sometimes as it always happens to others and then along the challenge comes. It has helped immeasurably the support from you and all the lovely people out there in fishing land. Am planning to go to Pevensey this Friday as weather and tide looks good cheers 😃👍❤️🍺🎣

Hi fellow thanks for the message and am very much alive, although not been fishing in last two months as had two more operations for my cancer and radiation treatment as well. This floored me but am recovering and hopefully no more treatment according to the consultant 🤞 Am going away this weekend with wife first trip in quite a while and then aiming to get fishing the following weekend as motivation not been the greatest of late plus all the horrible side effects of the treatment. Hi John thanks for the local advice and much appreciated. Have never fished Reculver and need to. Was going to get out this weekend after all my cancer treatment which is finally finished last Thursday but, the weather gods were against me rubbish easterly’s and wet so next weekend instead.
