you will never experience anything even remotely as amazing as rainbow trout fishing Kenai river's pink salmon spawn. Fact: Two friends and I, in one day, released 124 bows over 21" long. most were so engorged with eggs that their heads looked strangely small compared to their bodies. No trout fish will ever compare to that again in our lives. Unless of course we fish the pink spawn again. Minds were blown that day. Thanks for the video

Another W Video, Loving the Alaska Videos, can’t wait until I can go up to Alaska myself. I catch plenty of Rainbows on the north shore of Lake Superior but they are nothing like that.

The rainbows are hungry after the long winter we had. Great video like always. I love the salmon here in the kenai but it’s the trout that keep me always wanting more, I’ve lost too many giants in that section below skilak.

Take a trip out to the Yukon River sonar located in Pilot Station, they'll show you how the salmon is managed and counted with the sonar. It'll be some good content and enjoy part of Alaska that is only accessible by plane, it would be a great experience and meet up with a author of "My Side of the River" Elias Kelly.
