The BIG DADDY at 23 min was perfect!! Your lure was away from the huge school and it looked like it was trying to escape to somewhere away from the slaughter!!!! Like you said, the Kingies are patrolling at depth, it saw your lure and thought hmmmm….. nice and easy! People probably think it’s no problem to feast in a situation like that, nature makes em school together like that for a darn good reason! Safety in numbers means a lot of different stuff, in this case it means difficult to zero in on your target! MY GOD THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!!! JE, greetings from LA USA. Just watched your trip to Australia to fish that island with your three Aussie pals. All I can say is, you guys live in an unspoiled paradise. I have one suggestion that you may have already tried. Why not send up a drone to hover above the casting area? The water is so clear that it would be cool to watch the fish going after the lure. Keep up the good work.
That was pretty amazing Joe that vid had it all Krill Birds Whales bait fish and some big Kingies and I'm guessing there would have been a number of those guys in the grey suits hanging around as well ,EPIC .

Had a similar day off the stones in NSW, OZ. Acres of rat,Stripy’s and Bonny’s when a pack of 40 lb kingies rocked up followed by half a dozen monsters around 80lb +. These guys were swallowing the 5-7lb rats and stripys were were hooking up and gulping them while we tried to gaff dinner! It was as similar day, just mind blowing!

You can't beat a good day standing on a rock. I prefer to stand on the islands and use my boat to get to super remote zones. Chasing these big fish off the rocks is something you should give a go one day, it's hard to explain
