A little hook sharpener or some fine grit sandpaper is a worthwhile investment to have in your kit! Get after it!

A 24 incher in that spillway is amazing, I'd have never thought it and I wish my dad was still alive to see your video, because he'd have never thought it either. I was thinking it when you were putting it back, "Well what is going to happen to it?" It probably will die out there in the spillway. So yea we've got the same thought process, put them back in the main next time, it's the same body of water, you're good. Also, I use those cheap jigheads often (back in the day that's all that were available) and they work just fine. I don't know many people that go shore fishing for walleye, so this was a GREAT video, -PJ

Great job getting on those tough walleyes. Oh John I've found chartreuse colored Jughead work the best they work in almost every body of water in Minnesota north dakota and south Dakota. Chartreuse is a amazing color and works in clear and stained water give them a try for walleye

When you make crawdads or crawfish you should use zatarains crab and shrimp boil it's perfect for crawdads or crawfish
