Come join us as we catch five dozen crabs in less than an hour. I take them home and show you guys how I clean and prepare the tastiest barbecue crabs ever.Cooking time was less than 15 minutes.
5 dozen crabs in an hour is really good. Catching 2 or 3 at a time gets you off the water quick! Neat idea cooking them on the BBQ grill. Looks delicious!
One of my favorite ways to eat crabs. I think I could smell them when you opened that grill !!! Got my mouth watering for sure, thanks Ken ! Ya'll stay safe now ya' hear !!!
This makes me want to go crabbing so bad. Yall caught some nice ones. I have barbecued crabs the same way you do it and like you said it's better than boiled. When they start cooking on the grill the smell is just amazing. My first time watching one of your videos and I subscribed.
Wow nice catch again very easy.here in the philippines the best way to cook the crab is put some coconut milk and you'll see the taste.good catch i love it.take care and stay safe.
Finally someone that knows how to cook blue crabs. It gets so old watching people cook them whole then pick the guts and lungs out of their food. If you don't clean them first you don't get the seasoning down into the meat! Looks great and makes my mouth water.
I will differ, as we pick them with season on top it get through the whole crab. Not including the apple cider vinegar, beer, seasoning. Steaming puts the flavor thru the crab. Trust me!! Maybe not. Lol they do look good Don't they!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BLUE CRABS I CATCH THEM AT THE CAUSEWAY IN OLD SAYBROOK ,CT.I MAKE AN OUTSTANDING CRAB STUFFED FLOUNDER MY CRAB STUFFING IS TO DIE FOR!!!I LOVE HOW YOU COOK AS WELL DIFFERENT BUT ITS ALL THE SAME IN THE END WHICH IS ... DELICIOUS!!!!I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS FAN 4 LIFE IN CT.!!!!!!
Thanks Gerard! Try it you won’t be sorry. I forgot to give the cooking time. Just Cook them till the blue claws turn red. Took us about 13 minutes or so.
OMG this made me soooooooo hungry 🤤 & wow you caught that many in 1 hour that’s awesome, here in Australia 🇦🇺 I WISH we had a good crab 🦀 fishing spot cause I’d move there & never leave hahaha
Excellent. My barber told me years ago about cooking them this way but I never bothered to try it. I'm definately going give it a shot after seeing your results.
Always keeping it interesting Kendall.Well done video!! Gonna have to try this next trip. I make a simple metal clip to hold the chicken on. Cut the hook and curly wrap off of a clothes hanger, then wrap the middle around a broom handle to form a spring. then bend one end 90 degs and then a simple J and leave the other end straight but long enough to go through the J to form a simple diaper pin. Easy to load bait and take it off. Seems to hold better than tying a string around a slippery piece of meat.
Crabs are my favorite but I've never had them this way. Have a trip planned in June to do some fishing & relaxing. This is now officially added to our menu! Thanks!
Awesome! You definitely won’t be sorry! So good that way. Check out my latest video on crabbing and cooking them. Good luck on your trip. Thanks for watching
I see this cooking style on so many channels and it bewilders me. I grew up in Yscloskey, LA, about an hour southeast of New Orleans, eating crabs twice a week in season. I have NEVER seen them cooked like this and it truly fascinates me that there are so many channels with this preprocessing cooking style. We literally just put them whole into a pot of boiling Zatarain's with all the other fixin's... let them cool and after that its up to you. Processsing 20 lbs of crabs by hand [for what?] is incomprehensible.
Hey there from SE Texas! Just made a pot of seafood gumbo yesterday by generator and a headlamp (LoL)...and now I need more crabs! Wish I could get some of those sir. 😎🤓 Love your channel! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Man! We were very lucky here . The poor people to our west were hit hard. We are headed there Wednesday to cook for a 1000 people and bring pallets of water.
Hello, your area and state is so plentiful from the watershed. I enjoyed your card catching technique and learned you barbeque them . I aldy liked the electric barbeque. Thank you for sharing and God bless you. Frbjr 😎🏖️🇺🇸🍀☘️🥦
.....It's like yall are living in nature's grocery store !.....Nobody gonna starve yall out...Thanks for showing us how to dress it out and cook it...One of the best channels there is...!!
Awesome stuff from your setx neighbors. We do this ALL the TIME!!! Nothing better than blue crabs from the gulf coast. And if you know what I mean, nothing better than “rusty bottoms “
