Still wanna see you rip a tarpon on that thing...💯 I love your life bro, you're living for sure...Keep it up Got some 50+ inch Striped Bass up this way about 1/4 mile out . Might be able to get a 40/50 off the beach with bunker...Yuuuup

Question- why don’t you stop trolling once you’re hooked up? You can keep tension on the line even when you’re stopped

Yea I'm lost at this technique as well. No since is driving recklessly and not keeping aware of your surroundings just my thoughts I always love the videos but why keep trolling when your on?

Hey! You can't truly keep tension on a fish the same way you do when you're pulling them behind the boat/ski. We have a lot of wahoo, kingfish and barracuda here, if you try to stop the boat and crank as hard as possible to maintain tension the fish can still go whatever direction they please but when you're trolling they're constantly being pulled constantly and tension is maintained regardless of how much you crank. This is a common practice with toothy critters to avoid getting cut off and fish like mahi, sailfish and marlin that like to jump and can easily shake hooks.

I had to laugh. Keepin' the mutha straight when you are trying to reel something in IS a legit challenge, and that's at real low speed trolls, let alone however fast your are rippin'! heh heh heh I've got the touch partly down after this summer, but it's still a challenge!

Great posts! Are you driving the jet ski without a kill switch on you? You were going quite fast trolling. Great fishery you have down thee and must be a blast fishing it on a jet skit!
