Gen 1 reuses many of it's cries with minor distortions. Paras and mewtwo share what I like to call the 'mew' cry, with minimal distortion. There are like 5 or 6 others, the most common being one I like to call the 'ditto' cry, since ditto uses it, and it makes the pokemon sound like they're saying "Dit-to"!
To be honest, I never bothered to actually fight Mewtwo. I always just used the master ball and moved on. And with a catch rate of 3 I remember very well how much of a pain these mons can be. You got extremely lucky!
First of all, congrats on managing to get it that easily!! Second, I have questions. Where is your Pikachu? Why is it still referred to as Someone's PC and not Bill's? Is it okay to ask for the context of that uh....Lickitung thing? Third, man this makes me want to play Yellow on my New 2DS XL again except for the fact that I gotta grind cause of how overleveled the Elite 4 and Champion are and that isn't fun to do for me tbh.
@@Pacca64 Wait, does that mean you got a Pokemon with Cut via trading or some other means? I remember being able to bypass the SS Anne leaving with a Pokemon knowing Cut being traded to access that Truck Easter Egg later on, but I never thought to be able to do that to circumvent Bill as well as TM28.
@@ThisIsCSDX Yup! This came after playthroughs of Red and Blue, and my goal was to complete the pokedex in blue, so naturally, a lot of trading happened. The parasect in the video is actually from my blue playthrough.
