So when your pokemon is paralyzed it's speed reduces by 25% and it may not be able to attack 25% of the time. If you're gonna catch more pokemon, try to catch a flying type for later on in the game. Also personally I wouldn't use a Zigzagoon just because it doesn't learn any amazing moves and when it evolves it's stats are pretty mediocre, but if you wanna use it that's completely fine.

I plan to use Zigzagoon as one of my backup Pokémon if Froakie were to faint, but I will try looking out for the flying Pokémon to catch it with one of my Poké Balls!
