You actually inspired me to start my own temperature blanket. I am doing it for my 40 weeks of pregnancy though and it will be a baby blanket 😊 it‘s all honeycomb shaped granny squares with 7 rows each plus border.

You've inspired me to make my own sort of temperature blanket! Since the area I live in gets a ton of rain, I was thinking of putting a spin on a normal temperature blanket and doing a precipitation blanket instead! Our temperatures are very mild here, so I thought precipitation could be a bit more interesting. Thank you for the inspiration!

@@ameliasul808 I was just thinking of doing a blanket based on levels of precipitation in my area as opposed to the temperature, so there would be a different color for different amounts of precipitation (usually rain)

I have studied weather patterns during my research degree. Here is a couple of suggestions - 1. Start from a hydrological year which begins in October and ends in September the following year :) 2. Use a special colour for storm events and 3. You can also do this with rainfall (I would track in mm rather than inches though). :D

This really reinvigorated me to getting the temps for the first year of my nephews' and niece's lives! Ik it's gonna be a lot of work to make 3 big blankets like that, but i know it'll be totally worth it.

I switched up my colors as well. I put the colors on the dining room table. And looked at them for 2 weeks. It is important to love your colors. You blanket is pretty.

Im so thankful I found you on my start and journey through crochet , my grandma taught me when I was really little and I forgot it , then I found out my mom used to her when she had her first boy , and now I picked it up all on my own and want to have a craft that I enjoy and and I picked this it’s definitely in my family’s blood !!!!! Oh, that's so pretty! I love it. The one temp blanket I did was for my dad, with the high and low temps from his birthday on all the years he's been alive, in granny squares. It was gorgeous but so much work! I like this pattern you're using.

I've taken everything you've taught me about temperature blankets and in 2023 I'm going to start my first one. I've picked out the colors for each set of temperatures (12 colors) that I think flow nicely together and this coming weekend I will be buying half of the yarn I'll need. I'm buying extra because it will get used if leftover lol I gave myself a 200 dollar budget and I only went 7 cents over lol You have me so excited to make this blanket, I can hardly wait 😁 Thank you for sharing all the information I needed to get started.

Love those sneakers. Going to check out the website as my daughter has size 11 feet. Gorgeous temperature blanket squares. I made one for my husband with temperatures from our first year together ... once I found all the temperatures - included our 2 week honeymoon - It was easy to stay motivated and it was a hexie granny.
