Do you use the Liver for Sausage too ? In Germany it counts as Delicacy 😋 Its really tasty and bit different then Pork

Liver is the wurst😂

I have never kept the liver not saying I won’t try one day but havnt so far. How do y’all cook it?
@marcelfischer1081
@marcelfischer1081 Месяц назад
@@OutdoorswithCasey Its pretty German.1 part liver,2 parts Porkbelly,0,2 parts porkmeat. Boil the Liver for 15sec, boil the meat for 1h with Onions. Then grind it all through a Meatwolf and add Seasoning + some Water. Then fill it in some Glasses or something.

@@marcelfischer1081 that’s different for sure but love hearing how people use the same meat just different cultures with different recipes! Thanks for sharing!

I've been told that wild hogs have more than their fair share of worms and parasites. Is this true?
@OutdoorswithCasey
@OutdoorswithCasey Месяц назад
@@douglascolman4501 I havnt found any but it’s a good idea to cook your meat to temperature

box traps are not a good choice because you are very unlikely to capture the whole sounder and just educate the pigs you don't catch. Better to use a corral trap or an elevated trap that can be activated remotely. A human needs to trigger the trap at the opportune time.
@OutdoorswithCasey
@OutdoorswithCasey Месяц назад
@@casienwhey everybody can’t afford elevated traps and box traps don’t catch whole sounders all the time but I’ve caught whole sounders more than once! I have also caught the remaining pigs out of a sounder that I previously missed. Don’t believe everything you read they are a effective way to remove wild hogs but I agree there are better traps but there out of my price range and even then your not catching whole sounders just because of pig bulling and the push them out of catch zone. Nothing is 100% I’m just doing my part to keep them in check
