A beautiful movie and of course both Cate and Rooney showed chemistry and love. which spills over to the audience who feel it. We imagine ourselves in love like this. We feel like we are one or both of the characters. It is wonderful. Then we see both of them together promoting the movie and can still see the love they have for each other and we once again feel our emotions heighten and drawn into their world, watching every piece of body language imaginable. Holding hands, lingering looks, hand touching lower waste or caresses. Now...........we don't want to think of this.............what better way to promote the movie than to keep the roles going after the director has said CUT. They have done it well and makes the movie even more emotional and special. We compare their lives to those of Carol and Therese. Well done.
I've watched the clip 1:42 to 1:55 multiple times and observed that when Cate catches Rooney looking at her, she smiles at Rooney. They both hold eye contact while smiling and all the while Rooney is constantly breaking eye contact (a sign of nervousness) and then looking back at Cate again (a sign of attraction). Cate does it too, although a little more subtly. Then Cate looks away because she got nervous. They're not even listening to Todd and are just looking at each other.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if what happened in the movie would actually continue in reality. It is difficult to suppress such attraction, and there is probably love and mutual respect.
9:11-9:17 wondering if Cate was looking at Rooney, apologetically for not being able to be with her, for she is a mother of four in real life. Wow, a torture to see two people so deeply in love and so matching to each other couldn't really be together. (heartbroken)
Hay mucho en las miradas y voy a decirles algo esa mirada no es actuación hay algo, Kate es extrovertida y Mara es más reservada y timida y allí radica, esas miradas y atracción, son opuestas y es como dijo otra chica en otro comentario se atraen, como imán....me encantan las mujeres tímidas son tan misteriosas interesantes y me da curiosidad y las tímidas de las extrovertida les encantaría ser más abiertas más directas más sueltas pero no pueden y por eso les atraen lo loco, arrebatado. Pues yo creo que existe un cierto amor entre ellas, respeto, y complicidad. Si quisieran estarian juntas. En camara siguen el guion para promocionar la pelicula. Pero quien sabe en la vida real, cuales son sus verdareros sentimientos. Kate le cuida como a una niña. La otra actriz siente curiosidad, y miedo al rechazo quizas.

i feel like they're too much alike, cate and sandy. Very strong personalities. Rooney seems to be a good opposite to cate's extrovertness, and i don't even mean romantically speaking. As an introvert myself i most of the time prefer an extrovert one as a friend
