Hello everyone watching this interview: in no way was Cate annoyed at this interviewer; she was having a great time. This guy, whilst he might be American, works for an Australian T.V show, and has obviously picked up the Australian sense of humour, something of which Cate has in abundance. She started off the joking around by saying "it's like speed dating, only slower" and then playfully responding "well, don't jump the gun" when the guy replied "well, let's hope we're a match at the end". Anyone who thinks she was even slightly annoyed at him at any point in this interview obviously has no understanding of an Australian sense of humour, trust me, she's having fun. The Project wouldn't have put this interview to air if they thought it annoyed Cate in anyway. She was even laughing as they said goodbye to each other; it was probably a breath of fresh air amongst all the other repetitive interviews she had that day on the junket.
This interview went the other way , this was hilarious!😂😂😂 Cate is a gorgeous, intelligent woman w/ a sense of humor & that's a rare combo. She takes her work seriously ; thus she's one of the greatest actors we have but she doesn't take herself seriously that she can be funny if she wants to. Love her!
Cate laughed so hard, her eyes got watery. That’s how you know she had fun. If you can’t tell this was a fun interview and she actually had a good banter going with this guy then you lack basic humor. Cate has always been respectful and funny in her interviews even when faced with obnoxious questions.
I was cracking up badly... I like this kind of interview... not so intellectual. They had so much fun teasing each other... unfortunately, the media edited the best part and made it come out otherwise.
Point 1: That "guy" (I´m trying my best not to be rude) has one of the greatest jobs in the world. Point 2: He has the honour of meeting and interviewing one of the best actress ever, certainly the best of her generation. Point 3: He succeeds on being stupid rather than fun (if he was aiming for such), uninformed, unaware of the film's team!!! and, ultimately, insulting! We're talking about a Kenneth Branagh adaptation, not a bloody Twilight film or The Fifty Shadows Of Grey (a disgrace to both literary and film universe). God...what a troll!
She has every right to get annoyed by him not asking her any serious questions. Yes, she talked about Vodka but only after him starting the bit. She’s the actress she has to be very careful not to be the “bad guy” it’s her job to follow the interviewers lead. He was a terrible leader and then tried to turn it on her saying she wasted time and she was completely right to shut it down after that. Rude man.
