Strip & Fitting a Tyre on a CAT 16H Grader using a Tyre Handler instead of a Forklift since we have the space. Drop a like, subscribe and a comment if your curious about the job🤙 Cheers for Watching.
Just started job doing this. Been there 1 week only. At 2:40 in when you tried to pull tyre off with handler and it wasn't free i thought to my self they didn't break the inside bead with breaker.. couple seconds later you pulled out the bead breaker. Awesome this shows that im learning and recognizing issues and solutions .
You claim that the tyre was changed in 10min. It took me over 10min to watch this and a number of times there were parts fast forwarded. Maybe closer to 20 - 30min and still, the tyre was fitted the wrong way?? Quite painfull to be honest! Tyre Whiperers, more like Tyre Fizzers.
It's a 10min video for convenience with all the bull cut out & its a runout tyre on the drives, even the manufactures will tell ya it doesn't make a difference which way it goes relax mate.😆If you'd like to learn more dont be afraid to ask
10 minutes worth of work, I’d believe that. Any one that has ever deflated & inflated a 23.5R25 will know that you are looking at least 10 minutes just for that. The fact that they were joking around while doing it indicates that they were not going for any time trials. It’s a 20-25min job for a good tyre fitter. If you can do it faster or better, post your efforts. While I disagree with rotating the tyre backwards for the last part of the life, operators in slippery conditions will tell you that they hold traction better and as it doesn’t effect tyre life and the OEM tyre manufacturer will tell you it doesn’t matter, then they have not fitted it incorrectly.
