You should have grinded both pieces on a angle to get good weld penatration that weld is only on the top surface, wont last long. but didn't fix what caused the crack. Equalizer bar is shot, worn out needs to be repaired, or this will happen again
If you think that's quality work you have a screw loose!! One bead to weld in a 1" plate without any weld prep! Well at least they're saving welding rods!!
He didn’t do bevels, although at the end it looked like he torched them, but that’s not a clean seam to weld if he gas axed those in after tagging it in place already.
