Wow! Genuine Caterpillar service press. And custom made puller accessories. I don't care what anyone says, servicing traditional Caterpillar final drives on large tractors is work. No matter where you are or what tools you have. Well done lads
Im amazed by this in the best way possible. All the things they do man, props to them. May our father bless all our brothers and sisters on this earth who have no other choice but to make it work.
Don’t be hard on these guys. This is obviously before the age of the lamp and Nicola Tesla. But honestly, with the tools they use they get the job done well. Good job 👏🏽
Definitely should have an overhead pulley system for the heavy items and cover the dirt for fallen items. Dirt is not your friend! I respect all the hard work being done.
They live in a area with a lot of sand in the air. Dirt is unavoidable and it gets into everything. We called it moondust and it was hard on all equipment.
@@mattd5681 Well I guess 90% of the world should just stop fixing their equipment until they meet first world standards. Shut it down guys, you have not met the internet expectations.
@@okgroomer1966 Lol mf stay outta the comments you aint makin sense. One grain is all it takes for failure. Maybe you edumacate yourself eh? Here in OK we have sand too. Thats why we rebuild shit INDOORS lmao. I bet you wouldnt be running your mouth if you were paying the bill for this job haha.

Ustedes señores mecánicos ayudantes y trabajadores en general de maquinaria pesada meresen todo el respeto y admiración de el mundo son de lo mejor dios Melos bendiga hoy mañana y siempre.desde bigota Colombia un cordial saludo a todos
An actual D8K has a D9 roller frame and twice as wide grouser pads . They are used in mining tailings ponds and such . Worked on many of them . What is bad holding cat up with hydraulics . Shit happens ,in this instance it happens real quick. Luck will run out ,it always does for many . A young man trusted luck and was killed 3 days ago . Shake hands with danger !
Reparan la maquinaria más costosa del mundo , con escaso equipo de trabajo ...son verdaderos mecánicos , son admirables , mucho vídeo en esas condiciones ,escasos de erramienta adecuada . No c vale
Так и хочется им подарить ключ-трещетку, бедные мучаются над каждым болтиком много времени этими устаревшими ключами. Трещетки дешёвые и их везде валом, почему они их не используют на небольших болтах....
Ahhhhhhh, guys? It's not even close to being back together. You've got a 20mm gap at the cover there. You know, the cover that's suppose to keep the dirt out?
@@spike238 You clearly have a western view of the world. The vast majority do not live that way. You'd be hard pressed to find much more than part changers in the west. Very few actual mechanics
@okgroomer1966 ignorance isn't an excuse for common safety practices. Raise the bar , always aim to be your very best, learn and educate, even a little can go a long way
@@spike238 Who said they're ignorant? I sure didn't. They know what safety gear is, they just aren't interested in using it. It's a ideological difference really. Some people are always worried about not getting hurt and staying safe, others are more concerned with living life to its fullest consequences be damned. Myself being from the latter camp I completely understand why they do it. That doesn't stop you from wearing whatever gear you want, so why break their balls? It kinda makes you seem like a Karen if I'm honest. Let people be free to make as many mistakes as they want as long as they aren't hurting you.
