Ideally for safety, you want to put the sensor on the front of the fork so when it gets hit by the spokes it will just push it outwards not inwards but the way he did it in the video will difinitely work also.

I found out using sensor is very hard, most of the time as it failed to detect/connect. I already sold this unit and bought speedmeter using GPS which is more practical and easy to use.

@@ijansempoi , I had one a few years ago that hardly ever worked. I had to constantly line it up just right. Took it off and threw it in the trash

Just saw this clip. Fyi you mounted the sensor on the wrong side. The side where it is printed 'Sensor Zone' should be facing nearer to the magnet side. I sold lots of Cateye Wireless. This is where most people gets it wrong where signal will not pickup as distant too far

How far up the forks do you have to be to get the correct distance??

We have same set up. My handle bars are thick thats why i have to use cable ties to secure it. Works perfectly well

Maybe you just forgot the spacers. Just remove the rubber for 31.8 handlebars

Cheap bar tape only, no brand. I like it because the material is good and the color is matching my seat.

You cann always measure yourself. Put a chalkline on the floor next to your tyre valve. Then push bike forward one rotation untill valve is on floor again and measure that distance.

These are great computers. But the sensor setup is not stable. If you simply glue the sensor to the inside of the fork with silicone sealant, it will never move. It has a very long battery life and silicone sealant can be peeled off without damage to the bike or device. The great thing about these computers are that they are so simple, that you never need to recharge. They are sometimes affected by wireless signals in an urban setting and around train crossings, but otherwise very accurate.

Just slides in and clicks in place. There are now several companies making these mounts, and they cost less than a Barfly.

Oh dia akan tutup sendiri dlm 60 seconds mcm tu kalau tak silap saya. dia memang takde button off kecuali tarik battery keluar. :D

No need to switch it off. It just goes into power saving/sleep mode automatically. The battery life for the pick-up and display is over a year.
