Even if the turkey hunt didn't go as planned, I do believe if Houston has the same passion for turkey hunting as he does deer hunting he will get one this year. Couldn’t help but laugh at the boys when they were trying to carry the stringer and it broke, but the “do over” was great! That was a great haul.

Some of the best memories of my life are when I went fishing with my aunt, uncle and cousins, and we had a big feast when we got home. I miss those days so much. You are making the memories that make life great!

Coby is just such an easy going guy. What a sweetheart

My father used to fill his bird feeder with a blue plastic bucket. For several years they had large groups of turkeys. They got so used to my dad feeding them, he would slap the side of the bucket and call the turkeys up in the yard every dusk. They would come running for the bird seed he threw on the ground. It was always fun to watch.

Love seeing the brothers from different mothers getting to experience life. Reminded me of the times I spent with my father. He would fish while I played. I was a daddy's girl. Houston passed up fish eggs, what is wrong with him. My sibs and I fought over who was going to get them. Frog legs are great, too. That's a story for another day.

I love fishing but love eating it better lol Here is my fish story extraordinaire!! A group of us were fishing in several boats on a remote lake. One boat had a young person fishing with her pink Princess fishing rod. I think she was 4 years old. After putting her line several times into the tea coloured water, she let out a scream as her rod bent😂 She started to reel it in with her dad's help. It was a little pike. It was still on the line in the water as dad bent over to grab the fish when he all of a sudden swore. A huge pike came up and bit the other pike and off he went with the pink fishing rod's line still in the mouth of the little pike. 3 hours later after the little one's tears over loosing her pretty rod, dad has a fish on the line and it is giving the fight!!!! In the net comes the huge pike with the little fish and pink rod😂😂😂 If I wasn't there, I'd think it was just a tale but it was a 1 in a trillion happening😅😅😅😅

Every year for many many I have watched you guys fishing

Watching the boys having fun just fishing….. thinking about boys that will never have the chance or know the joy of just fishing with their dad or a best friend or just fishing. Just sad to me. I was raised on a farm on Clear Boggy Creek. The catfish in that creek were so big if you were swimming and floating with an inner tube and put your feet down, there would be a catfish underneath your feet like a big rock that you could stand on until you put your weight down and it would take off and scare the crap out of you. My mom did that and it scared all of us… hahahaha. Fun memories. Thank you for the Godly good man that you are! Such a hope builder for this old grandmother that there are still young good Godly men, 17:43 dads and husbands out there! Blessings and prayers over you and your family. In my teen years, i grew up fishing on an old farm pond and I miss those days of my younger years of sitting on the bank of the farm pond and catching catfish, cleaning them, and cooking them up and eating them with all the trimmings. We always had enough to feed the neighborhood and invited them over to enjoy the feast.
