In this video, I bring you along with me as I compete in a kayak catfishing derby. This was a 22 fish slot limit tournament. I caught a rare piebald catfish and a huge golly whopper size flathead. It was a fun weekend and I ended up getting the win.

Killer vid as always! Much respect for your calm and pleasant attitude and sharing your knowledge.Channels like this remind me that the catfishing community has some of the most humble guys that handle some of the toughest freshwater fish there are. Wow great video. Made my 63 yr. old heart really start racing. Enjoyed the heck out of it. I got a little catfishin in two days ago. Only could fish about three hrs the wind got up. lake Conroe was starting to white cap. My SS127 Bonafide handles rough water very well. Just found that out. Thanks for the good time. PS. Caught seven blues.

I'm on a Kayak Catfish binge watch right now. Its funny how sometimes you can catch big ole catfish on such tiny bait. My biggest flathead ever I caught on a chunk of skipjack about the same size as the chicken breast pieces you were using. Love to see a fish older than most humans released. This is why I'm going to school for wildlife conservation. Not to mention that beautiful piebald, one of God's beautiful creations.

Blues are fun in all but god do I love a big ole flathead 👍🏻.....hey Justin I’ve been using those gulp minnows on a 1/32 oz. jig head and have been slaying everything.....if it wasn’t for you and your videos I never would’ve tried them....your a hell of an angler with the videos to prove it thanks buddy👍🏻

Chicken Brest is my main bait. It’s cheap stays on the hook, and keeps well when salted. I often catch bait with it. I even caught Striped Bass with it it. Not idea, but practical and affordable.

I live in NC I caught a catfish like that when I was about 9 in a spillway behind a small farm pound, didn't know why it had spots like that when I was younger but the only one I've seen till now that's pretty cool

This isn't bad by any means. I lived in the south for about 12 years, several different states.
