Thanks! I noticed the ice water but I am still a novice on a lot of this. I am really enjoying learning though and excited to start getting out with my daughter into the woods and lakes.

I will be honest with everyone here. I have an autoimmune disease that causes non stop pain and the most effective treatment is clean living so far as I can see and even if it wasn't it's a cleaner and more ethical way to live in my opinion. I also think it's vital to teach our children how to survive regardless of the situation before them. I honestly believed that the catfish was not only alive but had the ability to feel pain as any other sentient creature would. I have zero problems with taking life for food in the most humane way possible to feed myself and my family, I just want to know what those methods are for safety and efficiency. I hope that makes sense. Lol

@@DungeonsandDiving thank you, I am definitely not complaining just a fact that cleaner living and food sourcing is healthier period regardless of the circumstances. 🙂 I just know that the more you know about your food sourcing the better for yourself and your family. We're expecting a pretty decent winter storm, or at least for my neck of the woods over the next week or so but I am really looking forward to planting my 1st small garden and hopefully starting to build a small farm where I can organically source my eggs, milk and veggies and start small and build from there. As a single mom I feel like self sufficiency is very important to a well rounded adult. Lol
