That was cool of you and Brad to let the little man reel them in. One day we may be old and the little ones will take us fishing . You gus are awesome 👌
Loading her up, cant believe there are tournaments out there that can bring in a prize pool like this. Awesome to see for tournament anglers of all kinds!
Spencer thank you for another fabulous video. As a huge dog lover, I think it's so neat that your little dog sometimes goes fishing with you. And the way you allowed that sweet little boy to bring a couple fish in was just precious. You are one lucky man. God bless and stay safe always.
It sure makes for a fun day on the water with woody tagging along. Additionally, I get a kick outta watching kids have fun fishing. It was a dang good day. Glad ya enjoyed it!
Y'all just gave the Little Dude lifetime full of memories, that he'll cherish into his gray years. Where you can't remember what you had for breakfast, but remember things from childhood as if it was yesterday evening. Takes a lot to hand a nice fish over to someone his size anytime, but to do so during a tournament not once, but twice. That's a tough decision to make, but I makes it apparent that he's more important than the pot of gold is. I'm thinking that y'all will move up through the ranks before the tournament comes to a close. But too many people take tournaments entirely too serious, forgetting it's really all about having fun, and having a good time with friends and family.
Getting your buddies son involved and catching fish was the best part of the video. I can truly admire a man who can take time out of his day to make sure a child is having a good time fishing. Great video.🤙
Awesome seeing you fishing some tournaments Spencer. I am getting pumped for our 2023 tournament season here in Indiana. Good luck this year on the water.
Anyone who’s ever fished a shipping river knows about the barge bite. 🤷🏼♂️😂 Tourney fishing is way different than fun fishing. I’ve been getting the itch to get back into it myself! Always love the content Spencer! Tight lines my man!
Bought my first kayak the other day! Wanted a lot but ended up with the perception outlaw. Pretty satisfied and itching for it to come in. You definitely motivated me to get into kayak fishing. Keep ‘em coming 👊
What reservoir was the tournament tournament held at you'll get them next time I got faith in you. appreciate the video mr, Rat. God bless you and your family.
Where is Dem other saltwater vidz?¡? But great video man....ur one of my favorite RU-vidrz along with Ellis out of North Carolina.....BTW hope ya win that 50K!!!!!
Ahhhh yea I do enjoy a little healthy competition.. keep them tournament videos coming bud cause I'd like to see you win one or 2 lol. I got faith in ya lol
SPENCER!!! You need to come to nNorth Carolina and fish “LAKE GASTON “ we have plenty of 100 pounders that’s where 2 of the North Carolina state records were caught..
Hey was yal fishing the Tennessee River in Decatur AL? I live in Florence which is only an hour away and it kinda looked like it from the vid. Little man did a good job fishting those fish. 👊👍
Great video Spence! Love watching your channel and watching all the gear you use! Which rods are you using? I have all the WS rods but I don't have those. Would love to know.
So I like the tournament aspect. I do. But I love this video for an aspect that is a smidge different. Tell Brad, my youngest son is also Max, Maximilian. I have done a few videos with him, but he has CP so there is a lot more work involved to take him. But he LOVES fishing. In your "copious amount of spare time" check out "Mama wants the boys out of the house!" Under Fishing night and day. Honestly not a plug so much as a cute video. As always great video.
Sometimes? Sometimes it isn't always about winning or about you. Sometimes? Sometimes? When you teach and bring joy to a child? You have added to the life cycle, you are the difference, and you can look in the mirror and say? Yep..That was worth the effort, thanks for the effort and content.
I'll be honest. It was totally selfish. I just happen to get a kick outta kids having fun while fishing. I hear what you're saying, I'm just lucky what I enjoy happens to benefit others. I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
@@RiverCertified I did enjoy it My son caught his 1st bass at 4 years old. 8 inches. Lol. Best day ever. He now ? The man is 28. And? People wanted to sponsor him and room mate for fishing merchandise. Lol. He didn't do it. But? You see.. opportunities exist even in fishing.
Can we talk about those rods?👀 bc those ws rods look super slick with the foam grip and I couldn’t tell but almost looked like a river certified logo on there👀👀👀
Awesome experience regardless of the results. Little man killed it!! He'll remember this for the rest of his life. I know I can remember fishing trips w my Papaw and uncle like they were yesterday. They helped me catch the fever, there was nothing better than being able to take Papaw down to our monster cat hole when he was in bad shape, on oxygen, couldn't drive, and was kicked to the curb for being inconvenient. I got to return the favor and be at his place first thing to take him just like he did me. Man I miss those days, and that spot. Someone else bought the house on the river where our spot was. We hooked cats that I haven't seen as big since then. We were blessed when it counted. Sry, just thought it was awesome u let youngster handle those cats.
I remember fishing with my Grandmother when I was between 13-15 years-old. We had memory making fun at Hill’s Creek in Oakridge, Oregon! Rest In Peace Rose B. Edes. ❤
@@RiverCertified You know it!!! It's all about the moments and memories that you can look back on and cherish til the end. My Papaw is Hiram Standifer, I would be in class from elementary to junior high and get called to the office thinking I was in trouble.. Grandpa would be there with a story about a Dr or dentist appointment so we could hit the river. That was cool as hell when I was a kid, hopefully one day I'll be able to pass that stuff on. I'm definitely a river rat, born and bred!!! Please share your love of the outdoors with the youngsters. That's the only way the waters will stay respected and protected in the future... P.S. Kick some ass out there!! I hope to get involved in some tournaments in the near future.
I remember my 1st fishing experience too; which was with my grandma when I was 5yrs old. 40 years later I am greatful for her introducing me to fishing. She had long since passed, however I still fish 100 plus days a year. Keeps me out of trouble
I had a small dog that loved to go on the boat checking crab traps and when a crab fell on the deck my dog would get behind it and crush it with his mouth without getting clawed. Awesome memories
and to think this man has to catch fish in 1 or so day to make 50k when i teacher who is in debt and hates they're job most likeley makes 30k in a WHOLE YEAR. Fishing is on top!
