Knights with the greatswords literally never care what's hitting them. Sharpened steel? Don't care. A chunk of rock? Don't care. A giant slab of iron capable of moving the earth? Okay, he cares a little bit about that one.
@@D2.159 Both Brass and Bronze are alloys based in Copper. Brass usually mixes with zinc and bronze with tin. All these metals can (but not always do) tarnish quite the lovely shade of green, like the green of the Earthseeker and the green of all the Old Knight armor and weapons.
@@user-ud7cg1nf3h no like the chieftain because the blue are the equivalent of the regular they have the same level of hp as the regular but if they had one like the chieftain then I feel like it would win
If we all have to be honest with ourselves, the greatsword knights are always the most badass type of knight in this series, they carry this unspoken but unshakeable confidence.
GS cathedral knights make up in aggression what they lack in stats when fighting Millwoods, the Greatmace Cathedral Knights are just too dang passive and dont know how to time their buffs
The shield knights are very, very passive. They have big shields and lots of stamina and only attack when you tire your self out on their shields on purpose, to teach you to try to work around their shield
That's because they are utterly stupid in how they use their shields. They just block until they run out of stamina and get hit for tons of sweet bonus damage. They'd be a lot stronger if they didn't have those shields and just spammed away with their maces.
@@franacha that assumes all his dex leveling knights converted to stength builds at some point, considering those pthumerian knights use GSs and mace/flails
@@gensaikuroki1793 yeah it breaks their poise (they already have quite low poise for an enemy so big) but they don't get knocked down like other enemies do
@@hecc7906 No I agree with you. I was just commenting that their kicks could break Millwood poise. I guess Harald Legion Knights are still the strongest knights in the game.
As expected, the Greatsword variants carried the Cathedral Knights most of the way like in the Cathedral vs Lothric vid, but unfortunately lacked the durability or stagger potential to have a clean win against the Millwood Chieftain. Loved the little bonus at the end too, kinda poetic justice to see the Millwood Greatbow Archer fall to his death after spearing and blasting so many players off the tree section leading to Gravetender and Greatwolf.
The Greatsword Cathedral Knight played his first fight so incredibly well, holy shit. That ending was like watching someone make a 1hp comeback in streetfighter
The Greatsword Knight winning that second bout with just a sliver of health remaining was freaking amazing. But Millwood Knights are the best, this is conclusive proof now.
As the cathedral knight moved through the snowy forest to continue his lone wolf crusade, he encountered a native of the place, he saw no other way but to destroy his foe.
The animations in this game are truly exceptional. I was impressed with COD MW 2019 animations, never knew a game from 2016 would be so good at it. Just look at his hand and body movement 2:00
I would love to see UGS Cathedral Knight paired againts some bosses. His poise and ceaseless onslaught make for an amazing spectacle. Make the crusader boi fight some bosses!
The millwood knight axe moveset is just so good, too bad ds3 had literally 4 movesets i would love to be able to use it, just like the little hit with the shield that's also really cool
Cathedral Knights (specifically the greatsword ones) are just really fucking aggressive. Doesn't help that the Millwood Knights have much longer windups.
@@cordyceps182 Also, they've got poise for days. I've never had a good way of dealing with them other than: 1. Cheese. 2. Tryhard. 3. Lots of armor and a really big stick. The only humanoid non-boss I hate fighting even more is the black knight.
MW: Ok! Hit you once and now... GSK: **Sword attack** NO! MW: OK! I'll gonna charge my strong.. GSK: **Kick** NO! MW: OK! THEN I... GSK: **Headbutt** NO!!
The Big Poise Boys knights, gotta love em. Also for the longest time I never knew the Mace CK’s could leave a shockwave on the ground, even despite farming him early on for large titanite.
