In the spring of 1971, when I was almost 5, My mom had a miscarriage. She was screaming from her bed yelling at my dad telling him to get some mustard paste or seeds whatever. Years later I asked her about this. She said that it was 4-6 weeks old. I then asked her whether she thought it was a boy or girl. She said it may have been a boy. When I entered grade one in September 1972, my mom and dad had intercourse again, but that turned out to be a sister, born in May 1973, About the time that the Skylab was launched. By 1976, my mom turned 40 years old. She wouldn't have anymore kids. So I ended up with two younger sisters one born in 1969 the other in 1973 I am the eldest and a son, born in 66. I believe that that baby that was in my mom's tummy in 1971 made a contract to imbue the womb with male energy so that my sister that was born a year later could become a tomboy. If that is true, that makes me really resent that youngest sister, Because by 1976 I had really really ached for brother which I never got.

Though this statement is true, you must consider that many of these women are not fully aware of what they have consented to, if they consent. They go to a place in their mind that refuses to tell their conscience the reality of it all. It's the only way so many of them can actually go through with it. But it is normal to use artificial birth control to prevent pregancy and also the threats of STDs. Abortion does not remove STDs.

@@SleepySylvanians At one time, birth control was illegal and many Christians are fighting to make all forms of birth control illegal as well as abortions. Christian ProLife groups still condemns the use of any forms of birth control, but the alternative to abortion is birth control. Birth control does not lead to abortion, the more people use birth control, then their would be less or no abortions.

Use birth control, then there would be no unborn baby to speak of.

Education is needed for our youth to learn about the dangers of unsafe sex, leading to not only unplanned pregnancies, but the threats of STD's. Women today are not stupid as they already know how to get pregnant, but the real risk is STD's like HIV/AIDS than just unplanned pregnancies as there is no such thing as unplanned pregnancies. Abortion does not remove STD's, and birth control is an alternative to abortion and that is a fact.

@@Loveispatient_2024 Nope, sex is not just for procreation, but also for sexual pleasure. There is nothing wrong with enjoy sex as it is very healthy. You are saying that couples should only have sex when a woman is ovuating and then when she is pregnant, do not have sex, until she is ready to have another baby. That is not logical. A married couple has to plan a family, such as "Can I afford any children?", "How many can I afford?", "Is it the right time?" and you really do not have to complete a marriage by having children. Having a child should not be a religious obligation, and that right falls on the couple, not any religion influences.

She should know: She was a director of a PP clinic for 7 years. I paraphrase: "We would go into schools, get the kids to trust us early. Talk to them about sex. "And if you get into trouble, you can't tell your parents, but you can come see us..." Give them low-dose birth control pills knowing mistakes will happen. Following an abortion, we'd give them another set of BC pills. We expected that by the time a girl finished college, she would require our services at least 3 times". 2) Evangelical Christianity never condemned birth control, since its' clergy are married. The RCC church did, and only due to a "minority report" decision and this against the advice of John Rock (1890-1984) being Catholic himself recommending its' use for married couples. Progressives demanded it be extended to all not just the married. 3) Christians have always recommended sexual chastity and /or restraint, except within marriage. That would put paid to the vast majority of abortions right there. Christians have been condemned for everything for 2000 years and your accusation is just as baseless as Roman Emperor Nero's blaming us for burning Rome. And THAT is a fact.

@@Angrybogan Yes, evangelical christians like Tony Perkins of the Washington Watch Christian radio show, Activice Mommy-Elizabeth Johnson also condemns birth control, Paster John Haggee and Baptist minister Steven Anderson also condemns birth control and these people that I have mentioned are not catholic. I say that sex education is needed, but only in high school. But I dough that sex education is being learn in grade school. You can look these people up on RU-vid as they have video discussion on their views on birth control. Sadly parents today are still not doing their job to discuss about sex with their teenagers and also informing them about safe sex. Abstenance only courses in schools only leads to unwanted pregnacies and STD's.

Anderson has 8 children, all of whom he as a father is responsible for. Hagee is the rabid supporter of Israel, so I'd question his theology, also because he's onto (I think) his 3rd wife so I doubt his sincerity . I'd say this: The conservative "minority" of the RCC condemned BC, as I mentioned against Rock's original recommendation to them. The Progressives insisted all women married and not, get BC. The resultant "sexual revolution" has been a disaster for women, men marriage and society in general. What we have here is a classic case of both extremes of Left and Right teaming up against the middle and the middle losing. What we can agree on is that, having had children myself, sex education is best left to parents and best done in the following manner: when your child asks an honest question, give him or her an honest answer and don't overdo it. My "jury" is out on Sex education: When I was in junior high school, it came in as one 40-minute lesson per week. Teachers assured parents that, with education, "Venereal Diseases" (STDs) and unwanted pregnancies would be a thing of the past". We have instead seen a proliferation of both. Finally, I take it you see abortion as a last resort/ necessary backup.I too saw it that way for quite some time, until opponents of the "Georgia Heartbeat Bill" - the supporters of abortion themselves - told us publicly that 1 in 4 (25% !!) of American women will "require" an abortion. @@maryosborn6488 I do. Not that it matters, but I should of added that it was not just a choice I made, my husband at the time also did not want me to continue with the pregnancy. So it wasn't like I wasn't in a place to have a child, I just did not want that, WE did not want that. And like I said, I still stand by the decision. I loved being pregnant when It was something I actually wanted. Me and my current fiance planned our first and only baby, well so far.

@@maryosborn6488 Not anymore. We divorced a few years ago. It's fine, I don't mind questions as long as they are respectful. But to be 100% honest, I had two abortions during the span of our ten year marriage. One occurred at 12 weeks and the other I was barely 6 or 7 weeks. That's crazy because I know lots of women who had terminations and feel exactly the same about them as I do.
