There was a time when in Italy, some television channels and some radio stations also gave space to the alternative; Red Ronnie (the presenter) tried to show the public that there was also something else besides chart music . In fact I remember another episode of this program in which, always in 1997, Porcupine Tree also played. But now you don't see these things in Italy anymore. On TV there are only rubbish programs, such as reality and talent shows, and on the radios only the news of the best known artists such as Muse and Coldplay or the worst shit that comes out of this sick country. It saddens me so much to see the cultural poverty in which my country finds itself today. 😔
