@@marcokite no way a very literal interpretation. Jesus said his words are spirit and life. Not understood by unconverted heart . Its a Jewish way of talking not Roman Catholic dogmatism
Very cool! I began to pray before opening up the Bible and wow!! How Jesus has made scripture so plane and clear whereas before it just went right over me.
i pray Ben finds Christ and joins His Church. That would be fantastic (like everyone yes i know, but i'm specifically talking about Ben right now today).
I pray for all the influencers on RU-vid to get to know Jesus and follow Him and be an inspiration to their listeners, including Ben. Lord, I know you have your ways and timing. We just pray for these people and let you work in their hearts… 🙏🙏🙏
Ben is beginning to understand that Jesus is the Christ. All loving ,all knowing all present and ever living God please continue to work in Ben Shapiro's heart until the scales fall from his eyes and he "sees" the truth. Amen. Great video, enjoying your channel very much. Have a blessed day all! Let us pray for one another.
Yes the your right, it is the Bible. This this is my body and this is my blood. Unless you eat and drink you have NO _____ within you. The true Covenant to man kind, Jesus. Thanks
The urgency to find Christ and God is in my life like a drowning man.I am frantick.Thats why i won't fully surrender because my flesh wants me dead. But my Lord still is saving me inspite of my delema. Praise Christ king over all Heaven and Earth for his Mercy and grace endures forever.

Bishop Barron is a maddeningly hesitant figure. On the one hand, he's a brilliant explicator of Catholic belief and theology, but on the other, he's reluctant to follow that explication to it's logical finish. So when Shapiro asks him, "am I screwed?", meaning that, as a practicing and committed Jew, does he have a reasonable hope of salvation, Bishop Barron fumbles it on the goal line. I just wish he wouldn't do that. He's a bishop. He's supposed to tell people things they don't want to hear.
When I was in middle or elementary school, one of the Jewish kids said " yadda, yadda, yadda.... and even Jesus was a Jew. " -- to which one of my VERY waggish friends piped up and said, " He couldn't help it, he was born that way ! " Funniest and best kid commentary ever.
If they know who Jesus was, then they would know how tragic Jesus' situation became when everyone rejected him and not follow him as he originally wanted in order to restore God's Kingdom on the earth, and that he was heartbroken that he had no other choice but to be killed to at least save part of his mission, and know that God would have to send another messiah to finish the job. How sad Jesus was.
The problem is Paul is the one who turned the Jews away from the Jesus. Had Peter taken a stronger stance and not allowed Paul to take over and break away from The Law, the Jews would not have been so opposed to perhaps listening closer to the message Jesus had left them. Paul insisted that Gentiles who wanted to follow The Way, did not have to be circumsised so right then and there, Jews saw this as no longer a Jewish sect within Judaism.
How is that Paul's fault? If the Jews put that much faith in physical circumcision than they have reaped what they sowed. Only the Holy Spirit turns the hearts of men. Confess the truth, in glorification of our Lord, and everything else is out of our hands.
@@spicerc1244 Paul is the one who drove the wedge. Didn't Jesus say He did not come here to change the Law? Wasn't Jesus first and foremost a Jew? Paul is the one who came, out of nowhere I might add, and caused the schism. The Jews didn't reap what they sowed. Perhaps if Paul wasn't so intent on wiping away Christ's Judaism, things would be totally different today.
@@edwardcricchio6106 I'm sorry, but I sense there's an agenda you're driving and these are not good-faith questions. I do not think you've read the scriptures closely and you are going off a grand-narrative that you've pieced together by way of superficial, general knowledge of the New Testament. For example, Jesus Christ said so much more than "not changing the law." He explicitly said that He, for one, came to FULFILL the law and, second, as a SWORD to divide. This means faith in Him was going to naturally cause schism, as only those given to Him by the Father (in fellowship with the Holy Spirit) are His.

What was a messiah thought to be 2,000 years ago? A man descended from the line of David and had been selected by Yahweh to sweep away Satan and all evil from the world, set up a new Garden of Eden for the righteous, and rule the world for 1,000 years as the King of Israel. It was only later that some Jesus followers, who couldn't accept that he wasn't the messiah after all, redefined what the word meant so as to justify their beliefs. Did other people claim to be the messiah? Yes, plenty. And those who were caught doing it were also crucified, too. Rome appointed kings and rulers within their empire. People who popped up and claimed that they were the king of Israel were plainly insurrectionists.
How is Jesus a jew? after saying this; about them; (Rev. 2:9, 3:9,John 8: 39-47) and Did He wear a yamika & pray in a synagogue? Did He celebrate Hanukkah and other jewish holidays? Did He talk and dress, like the Pharisees & Sadducees? Did He preach; from the Talmud? He was God in the flesh, How is God a jew?
He does the same thing all religious people do… Beats around the bush, talks and riddles in metaphor allegory… They can never tell you the truth because then there will be no need to listen to them. Why would you talk yourself out of the job?
Highly unlikely that Jesus, assuming he existed, would have had long hair as shown in your picture. Paul said it was "shameful" for a man to have long hair.
Hamas was founded in 1987 by Ahmad Yassin. Palestinian civilians have been jailed, tortured and murdered by Hamas from its beginning. Netanyahu knows this. Bombing / starving civilians has nothing to do with making Hamas accountable..
It is very difficult, perhaps even impossible to "get Jesus right," because we know so little about him. Other than the last year or two of his life, the years of his ministry, we know next to nothing about him. He came from Nazareth, Galilee, he was involved with John the Baptizer, and he was crucified by the Romans for the crime of proclaiming himself "the king of the Jews," and that's it. Nearly all the rest, beginning with St Paul Epistles are fantasies. There is some core of truth about Jesus in the Gospels, but how much exactly we can't be sure.
Catholics do not even believe that Jesus Christ alone is necessary for salvation. Catholics trust in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church for salvation. They are "necessary for salvation." Catechism 980: "It is through the sacrament of Penance that the baptized can be reconciled with God and with the Church: Penance has rightly been called by the holy Fathers "a laborious kind of baptism." This sacrament of Penance is necessary for salvation for those who have fallen after Baptism, just as Baptism is necessary for salvation for those who have not yet been reborn." However, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, water Baptism "delivers no one."(978) You can not be "reborn" by something if it doesn't deliver you! Only faith in Jesus Christ alone delivers sinners.
This is the same Bishop Baron who thinks Jews and everyone else may be saved. This is opposed to what he is saying here. The Jewish people were a people separated from the rest of the world. Christians who take the eucharist instituted by Christ are likewise separated.
Pray for Ben Shapiro that he come to the total Faith and accept Jesus Christ. Because God will also convert Israel and redeem it with his only Son Jesus Christ !
How Interesting....an unbeliever explains to another unbeliever who Jesus is..??? Catholics believe only in Catholicism sadly and not in the Christ of Scripture. How can they win another unbeliever??
Yes, we all know he was an Aramaic speaking Jew. The Gospels were written in Greek because Christianity was spreading to the gentiles throughout the Roman empire.
Well, I don't think anyone demands that Jesus was named within the English language, or the Latin, Greek or any other. He had to be born under the law; named under Jewish convention, in order to fulfill the Mosaic Law.
The old testament clearly states the drinking of blood and eating human flesh is an abomination. Jesus is not the Messiah. He didn’t fulfill any Messianic promises.

The record of history doesn't doesn't support this interpretation. A Jewish street preacher would not have been condemned and executed as Jesus was. Nor would he have risen from death, which is the best explanation of the Gospel accounts.
0:30 the Catholic church said differently for centuries. Hypocrisy at its best.they constantly refer Peter a gaileen as the 1st Pope. He was the sacrifice ,not of the old covenent of blood of lambs and bulls.
