There is a lot of theological diversity within the Catholic church as well. Take the leaders of the various groups here and see how they explain the Scriptures. Like Catholics, we Protestants do have unity we share as well.
@lcs-salam those aren't theological differences, just emphasis on different parts of biblical messages by different people, which is perfectly natural and not a product of disunity. The protestants however have thousands of theologically incompatable sects. This is because protestantism itself was founded on the idea that established interpretation of scripture is wrong (which is completly retarded by the way).
There definitely isn’t theological diversity anywhere close to the level of Protestants in Catholicism. And any theological diversity is allowed as the Church has not dogmatically taught on an issue.
Protestants can disagree with each other on the manner of baptism, like Lutherans maintain baptismal regeneration, while evangelicals say you’re saved at a moment of faith and baptism is a mere sign. Catholics cannot dissent on the matter of baptismal regeneration. We maintain the first mark of the church, oneness, because we have a papacy which by our communion with Rome, unifies us in faith, worship, and governance. How can the church be one if there are hundreds of individual governing bodies that are not accountable to each other, as in the Protestant paradigm?
The orthodox church would like for you to hold it's beer, it's been more diverse since the schism in 1054 Most Eastern Catholics are Orthodox in communion with rome for Geo-political reasons. They're orthodox in liturgy, sacraments, and the Nicene creed, they even insist on the Roman Catholics no longer using the Filioque, a theological issue since centuries before the schism the Papacy Started for adding to the creed without consensus or Council of the other Popes from Antioch, Constantinople, Jerusalem, and Alexandria. The Eastern Catholics are sometimes condemned as Eccumencist heretics by the rest of the Canonical Orthodox for bowing to Schismatic Rome, but it stands that they're the last true Catholics in Roman Catholicism rejecting even Vatican I invocations.
the Brazilian Catholic Apostolic Church isn't "trad". the church was founded after a bishop was excommunicated for being a communist, then he made married priests and allowed divorce. nothing trad over this.
Na verdade a Igreja Católica Apostólica do Brasil estava no grupo dos tradicionalistas, dos sedevacantistas, dos conclavistas e outros grupos cuja situação é complicada
Not only that, but they have a massively edited Bible (looks more like a theology textbook) and a creed that goes way too long (like 30 pages) which includes pseudo-Arian ideas like that (the human nature of) Jesus and Mary were created before time, and phrases like “a drop of Mary’s blood” is all over in their idea of the sacraments, like they think you receive Mary in the Eucharist along with Jesus.
@@anonymous-rm3ut I'm a bit skeptical about the "gifts of the Holy Spirit" whether it's real or just fervent emotions, but I personally wouldn't call it demonic... delusional maybe. Speaking in tongues where a demon can influence you is more of a Pentecostal church thing, they warn you themselves.
@@Lucian0sp4lletti At the core of Christianity is the belief that Jesus suffered and died for our sins, but rose from the dead on the third day. This showed that death, which is the wages for sin, can be overcome by Christ and belief and trust in Him. After His Resurrection, Jesus ascended into Heaven and is still alive, and seated at the right hand of the Father, but will come again one day. So He is still alive right now. According to St. Paul, (1 Cor 12:12-19) all Christian beliefs and preaching is predicated on this miracle of the Resurrection, so if Jesus wasn't alive, Christianity would be futile.
Man, these manga names just keep getting longer and longer. Also, the length of that one reminded me of “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”
yes, you are correct, however, read what the Catachism says about them receiving communion with us. If you want to know about the Polish National Church. I grew up with these folks. In one of the mountain towns out side of Wilkes Barre.
I agree that they're not Catholics, but their case is the same as with the Eastern Orthodox and other Protestants. The bishop of Rome is the superior of all Christians on earth, regardless of whether they recognize his authority and act accordingly.
I wish you had distinguished which ones are in communion with rome and which are outside his authority. I know we have 23 rites in communion with Rome.
@@antigonarosaura7845 I most of my friends are traditionalists and, though there is some contempt for the novus ordo (justified), I've never saw any of them advocating for curtailing the new mass for people who attend it, as they're normally busy fighting for their life to safeguard their Mass.

As a common practicer of both Latin and Byzantine rite (and sometimes attending the others) thanks for showing the beautiful diversity of the one holy church
I didn't know coptic catholics were a thing, I assumed "coptic" Christianity was it's own denomination. You learn something new everyday I guess Great video! 👍 Edit: I also didn't know there was such a thing as "Byzantine Catholics" either, I always thought they were all just Orthodox Christians over there, that's cool too!
2:40 there's ALSO the Ambrosian rite, which is similar but distinct from the Latin one, but it only exists in a small area centered around Milan so leaving it out of the video is no big deal
@@javierduenasjimenez7930 .
@WilhelmEley yeah formally, Its weird diplomacy as the Vatican recognize Taiwan specially since the Chinese government view on them vary from pretending they don't exist or consider the underground churches as illegal.
@@ivorzhang3157 I wish i could agree but the bible edits and the secular heresies common in the three-movement are dangerous but its great to hold firm and no power can separate your relationship with Christ
we are united in doctrine, having different expressions of the liturgy is welcomed in the catholic church as long as it is reverent and has marks of apostolic tradition.
Polish Catholic here! Fun fact, even here in the most Catholic Eastern European country our church attendance is dropping, definitely something to pray about 🥲💔
These differences are only cultural as all Catholics are in communion with the pope and follow the same beliefs and traditions. We are all united despite looking different. If they disagree with Catholic doctrines, teachings, traditions, or the pope then they aren’t Catholic and shouldn’t be referred to as such. Unlike the Protestants who can disagree on fundamental beliefs.
THANK GOD we are not in communion with the false conciliar church of sodomite blessings, Marxism, Pachamama, etc. and we keep the true Catholic faith! Long live the SSPX!
It's usually associated with TNO but actually it's just the old Russian empire flag which I belive was used in the 17th century until It was changed and replaced by the black white and yellow banner
brazilian catholic here after i was diagnostiqued with autism i discovered that to the catholic churche all the peoples with any neurodivergence go to heaven
As many churches listed are not in communion with Rome its a shame the Anglican Catholic church (not to be confused eith Anglo Catholic or church of England) wasnt listed.
My Salvadorian family is definitely part of the Liberation Theology. But I really don’t take part of it. Their patron saint is San Oscar Romero. Look him up and you’ll realize why
3:10 bro... for a country that is MOSTLY, if not FULLy Catholic, it's not that hard to find POLISH hymn or song. It looks like some American mass that sings Barka (cannot recognize lyrics but defo not in polish), our Popes's song that is incredibly popular. Such a weird choice. All you had to do is to just put Polish mass. Polish NATIONAL Catholic Church? Not so national if it's some America's polish minority Church when you have the whole country to choose from... Greetings from Poland
There was no catholics in middle east and africa before crusades its a fact, the only catholics are forced convertion, or decendants from crusaders who decide to stay in the lands
