@@MGrayl-ib5fo Hardly surprising being constantly interviewed by odious cretins like these people. I couldn't watch it all tho I wanted to hear what she had to say.
@@MGrayl-ib5fo She looked completely perplexed by that strange introduction he gave her. I can totally understand why she responded to it straight away.
You realise this woman co-wrote "Toxic" by Britney Spears, "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry, "Can't Get You Out of My Head" by Kylie Minogue, and a shitload of other hits.
Back in High school 91 or 92 their was this girl in my class she looks like her even copied her hair and style of clothing. I made a move asking her out I was very interested in her. She says to me I don't date football players. I say why not ? Because your earagant I asked who do you know. She told me their names I told her just because I'm in football I don't hang around with those boneheads. I'm a type of guy who reads a book during my lunch break . But she still refuses to give me a chance.
She absolutely owned the lot of them in the classiest and most down to Earth way, she handed them their arses on a plate by just being her authentic self.
I want to like her, I just find her whiny and insipid. She was visibly annoyed at the beginning over a silly throw away comment about being a simple girl. Not much charisma at all. She's always the same in other interviews. That's why she was best at writing for others.
i only made it halfway through this awful interview and by the 4 minute 30 second mark they still haven't asked her about music. What a daft bunch this lot are. I've loved Cathy since her D-Mob days and still listen to her 3 albums ❤️
I feel like Cathy needs security with this panel. They are ganging up and attacking her. She holds her composure, but haters are gonna hate. We love Cathy Dennis! ( I hope I spelled her name correctly.)
Cathy Dennis is such a beautiful young woman. She is such a great singer. I wish that she would have continued singing. I wish her and her family nothing but the very best for the rest of her life.
There this wounderful thing that's been invented for years called the internet you might of heard of it try typing in Cathy Dennis and 2019 next to it and then there's usually these things called pictures that pop up when you hit enter dumbass
Yuk, that's that horror Magenta Devine with the glasses - I'd forgotten she existed. Fortunately Cathy Dennis's pleasant manner completely upstages her.
IM GARRYHIXON..I WAS 26 IN 1991 IM STILL SINGING MY KIDS KNOW MOMMY IS DIFFERENT & GARRYHIXON WAS really famous at one time and more famous now because of youtube and the computer twitter and facebook etc....ya im like a beatle right now..my kids ya i was a beatle...but im with you now..really out there right now ...its amazing
Who were on that panel... that woman in the shades and striped outfit.. that was NOT Annie Lennox was it? It looked like her but I don't know.. she seemed kind of "out there".. to be her..
@@creativewriter3887magenta de vine or something like that. I think she was a presenter on The Clothes Show. Her "character" was a wacky, left field, anti establishment type thing....even though she was incredibly posh and privileged upbringing. Plenty of her types abound in the past 5 years
Where is Cathy Dennis now?i really like her first album during 1991 like "too many walls",i was in 1st year high school that time when i heard her song.thanks
It's not the moon sign that you need to know what time of birth! It's your rising sign that you need to know the exact time of your birth. Cathy did have that American sound that I loved. Im so glad we got to hear her.
I love how she didnt care for the question about money and whether she's so rich from her success in the U.S. I wish I couldve met her when I saw her in the 90s performing at a venue in L.A.
what year was this show on TV? I like how she is so calm, collected, and tried to hide her irritation with the group. I love Cathy Dennis and to this day, Move to This CD still makes me happy whenever I listen to it. Thanks for this post.
Cathy was way too nice man, idiots always taking liberties with her. You can't help but be attracted to her, she's a proper woman, ultra feminine. She was my high school crush and still is, I would ride into the fires of hell to save you baby...lol
Oh My god, i was already shouting at the screen about the simple girl comment, and then she sits down and puts him in his place, He is just a simple presenter from twatland that no one knew and still don't know.
the interviewer (steve allen), is on every morning on lbc every morning 5-7 an is a radio legend - crap on telly. cathy dennis of course is the most humble superstar you could find and i want to marry her.
Trust Tory Esther McVey to be fixated on Cathy’s wealth rather than her talent! A cringey interview but one parried well by Cathy: no wonder she retreated from the limelight and into writing full time.
Yeah, the downside of being "mega in America" is that it makes OTHER people rich. The kind of people who can bankroll a 30-city tour and still have enough left over to hire the type of lawyers who don't flinch at being told to draft contracts that leave the artist almost nothing. I expect that had a lot to do with her decision to find a better way to invest her time and talents. A pity it means we lost her as a performer, though.
