hello my friend.congratulations you are making very nice videos. unfortunately the automatic surface is not correct for the gear part. If you want, first place the stl data on a correct axis set. Then you can draw 1 tooth by sectioning and do the whole with the rotation method. This way you can at least show the right way. good work.

What about surfacing something that has some shape in it? Putting some automatic basic surfaces on some flats has no point.
