Great shave again!! I’m a huge fan of Catie’s Bubbles. They might make the best products out there, in my opinion. I really hope this Eau de The scent makes out as an offering to the broad public!

Soap made a mountain of goodness in the lather bowl, no need to scrub the face. Paint it on and shave. No FaTip razors in my den🤔 3 hours growth!, oh well. A sacrificial shave for the benefit of RU-vid viewers, the skin will eventually heal. Nicely done Michael💈💈, four hours sleep or not. Enjoy!

Holy shit! I literally just bought that same brush a couple weeks ago! Out of all the brushes that I have bought and tried so far, the Yaqi Rainbow feels closest to perfect for me both handling and performance. The handle is excellently shaped and a good size (I hate small handles) and the knot size is great and yet it doesn't splay out as wide as you would expect for that size knot and loft and I think it has to do with the bulb shape of it. Best brush I've ever used! 🌈

Nice to see you back Michael. Missed your weekly video when away on holiday in Turkey. All good stuff as usual, but I really liked the point you made not to try to chase perfection with something you know will only bring trouble, and especially if you'll be shaving in 24hrs anyway.

Great soap, it is a bit thirsty but has terrific slickness and cushion. The scent is awesome! I’ll have to give the aftershave a try.

Nice shave and discussion on vegan vs animalic soap bases. I'm kind of picky when it comes to performance as I shave daily with straight razor or shavette. My vegan Wickham and Swedish Witch soaps performe beautifully. 😊👍

In a trade I recently did on “The Shave Den” Fourm this nice gentleman kindly threw in 20 artisan samples! One of them was I believe it’s called Connecticut shade by Caties Bubbles . Beautiful autumn sent and I’m pretty sure their located not too far from me . Forked River, NJ that’s closer to AC and I’m closer to Philly but still South Jersey. I need to try a tub out I’ve been in the TWS game for a lil bit now (11 months) not to have tried Caties Bubbles LOL

Would you believe the first 74 that I started using a week before your's is probably finished or about to be ? , its the only blade I've used though I only shave 2-3 times per week , basically just my cheeks and my neck . That soap scent sounds beautiful . If someone thinks tallow is the only good soap , they should try Caties Bubbles , or Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements will definitely change your mind on vegan , plus FANTASTIC SCENTS . Hello Michael. This is very interesting. I have the Fatip Special Edition only, and I've found the Gentile base plate to do not shave well (very smooth but poorly efficient). Are you saying that there is a difference between the special edition gentile and the regular gentile (grande maybe)?

I'm still a vegan soap sceptic. Was going to use martin de candre the whole month of october. Gave up after a week. My face just seems to need tallow, especially for post shave.

I ll shave off my month long beard with a 'homelike start' razor. 😁
